Next up in our mix series is kaisei, a true rising underground figure in the Eora (Sydney) scene. He is part of the freshly started collective alkaanet; an experimental plattform formed out of a mutual devotion to mind-bending electronics and otherworldly sound design. 

This mix dives into fast deep beats and lysergic rhythms, weaved with glitchy and ominous soundscapes - showcasing the forward thinking and experimental sounds coming out of the depths of Eora - ascending you into orbit.

This podcast proposes a more liquid way of archiving sounds. It takes on the possibilities presented by the sonic revolution of the late 19th century - the invention of the Edison phonograph. It navigates the materialization of sounds, challenging their subjectivities and ever changing qualities. Sounds are here used as a contemporary exercise of speculative research and philosophical proposition, rather than a mere form of entertainment. Ranging from classical recordings from the early 1900s, to the first sampling experimentation from the 40s-50s, till what is now being produced and considered to still be experimental, sounds are here the liquid which takes us in a non-linear analysis of sonic experimentation. 
In this travel through archives, one can wonder what links the curiosity behind sonic inquiries which were - or still are - ahead of its time.
Or maybe simply hear through its invisible, 
however audible mobility, the surface of another time

Fast, vicious, tribalistic and psychedelic are key words to describe his productions that are widely used on dance floors around the world as we speak. With upmost support from mastro Patrik Skoog and releases under his belt with Gypnotica Records, Ghetto Rhythm and Rave your soul, Eli’s mark on the local and global underground dance scene is most definitely notable.
