Victoria’s work involves curated and controlled spaces or installations, conceptual sculpture, performance & digital image. Her work is often experiential in nature, for herself and the participant, focussing on the physical & thought process as necessary tools to understanding identity, the self and our inhabited space. Victoria’s spaces often utilise sound, statements & image to facilitate this process.

Her current project, ‘The University of the Self’ (UotS) is an ongoing experimental project concerned with the creation of identity or the ‘True Self’. The UotS draws on the work of Joseph Beuys (Social Sculpture and the Free University), as well as the concept of a Collective Unconscious. Victoria explores the possibility of the self being a place of learning by evolving experiences leading to the creation of the being in its own image.
