A série "Reflections of Maya" é, conceitualmente, uma obra que apresenta as intenções do artista Bruno Maya como DJ e Mix Designer.

“Maya” (do sânscrito) é um termo da filosofia hindu que se refere às ilusões da vida carnal que separam os homens de sua verdadeira natureza e de seus propósitos originais. Na busca da iluminação, a jornada humana consiste em desvendar Maya, encontrando em sua compreensão a verdade.

A composição "Ready to Wake Up" inicia-se narrando a escuridão da vida humana, mas desenvolve-se transformando a tristeza em uma mensagem de esperança e, finalmente, redenção.
