K-Style - Freak Like Me (Private Remix) [FREE DOWNLOAD]

Here's an old neoclassical style guitar solo I recorded over a year ago that I wanted to add to so I put some small orchestral accents in there to embellish the movements. Played around a lot with harmonic minor and some phrygian. Recorded the solo on my schecter custom guitar.

I'm working on an instrumental album at the moment and re-amping this was a tone test of sorts for my lead for the album. This solo pays homage to one of my favorite guitar players, Yngwie J Malmsteen. In the same way that Jimi Hendrix and Eddie Van Halen changed the guitar scene when they came out in the 60s and 70s respectively, Yngwie changed it again in '83. I consider those guys the BIG 3. If I name all of the players that influenced me though this paragraph will go on forever so I'll stop it here lol.

Todays episode welcomes Steel - Silvio Čelik Zadravec, a Dj from Zagreb, Croatia who took his first steps onto the music scene in 2014, where he fell in love with electronic music, particularly tech house, a genre he continues to favor in his sets. Always curious about what happens on the other side of Dj booth, he acquired his first controller and spent hours dedicated to learning. His debut performance occured at Underground Tisno in 2021, with Dimmish as the main guest. Since then, Steel became a resident at Techgrooves and has had multiple appearances at Sound Factory, Underground Tisno, Krs and Maslina, Techno Workout, Spirit of Nature, Depo club, Lift club, in Novalja at beach bar Bridge and he also played on Zrće beach on famous Sonus festival. Among well-known names, he shared decks with Dj Jock, Dimmish, Marko Nastic, Marina Karamarko and Nacho Scopa.
