After its early banging Miami VA, Pakate Records keeps the groove alive with a Mediterranean collaboration, as Daniel Orpi and Shaf Huse got together in the studio for "Turn It Up" EP. With the pairs being some of the most prolific and played producers of the last few years, their Pakate debut is a pure engine for the dancefloor, where Barcelona meet Milan in spectacular fashion. The Essential Mix is a weekly radio show on BBC Radio 1 currently broadcast between 0:00 - 2:00 AM UK time on Saturday morning. Originally broadcast on 30 October 1993, the Essential Mix features contemporary DJs and music producers of electronic dance music. The show has been presented since its inception by Pete Tong and features an uninterrupted two-hour mix from a different artist each week, overlaid with occasional continuity announcements delivered by Tong. With a broadcast run in excess of 25 years, the Essential Mix is one of the longest-running programmes in the current BBC Radio 1 schedule, and is one of very few Radio 1 shows which is not broadcast live.

Victor's life has always been marked by the urge to express himself creatively.

At age 14 he started playing bass and in the beginning of his 15th year he started writing songs and playing around town with his band, giving him a glimpse of the life on stage. At age 18 he decided that his artistic path should continue with electronic music. 

Since then he has played in most of the clubs in the country including world top 100 - Yalta Club and has shared the decks with more than 30 of the major names in the scene.

His music is defined by a pumping tech-house beats mixed with dark percussion elements, energetic high hats, and mysterious vocals which when combined create that distinctive feeling of groove that you can find in his production and sets.
