As the sky lightened up behind the DJ booth and the sun rays came through the forest, Borak took La Familia community to an even more magical journey that spanned decades of music.   

His broad spectrum of tunes and selection of beats kept the crowd moving and the smiles coming. Friends would simply look at each other, look at Borak and nod in agreement that this is just pure magic. The funky electro beats, the 70s disco and the various oriental / eastern motifs engaged the crowd and provided an immense listening pleasure. The Afro house towards the end was the culmination of the mystical and spiritual journey experience.   

We hope that this set will bring you back to the whimsical forest of the Lost City on that wonderful Sunday morning.

Join us on a journey in the hills of the mountain on a meadow surrounded by granite boulders, pine trees, and a lake with a crystal clear glacier water. A delicate breeze compliments the sounds coming from the distance, a subtle beat that welcomes the soul. As we move closer, we hear the distinct sounds of Pierre De Beirut, a mix of organic, oriental and electronic grooves. We cross a bridge made of wooden planks and stone, the music gets louder and we find ourselves in the middle of a gathering. The North African and tribal beats act as a beacon to our spirit and the the Ancient Roman ruins illuminated by the setting sun are the perfect backdrop to our voyage. As the sky turns red, and the moon appears in the horizon, Pierre De Beirut transports us to the courtyards of Alhambra, the sounds of flamenco singers, mixes with the water and the wind. We feel the passion in our hearts and continue to move and sway evoking our truest, confident, energetic selfs. The final tracks bring an elevated state of consciousness, pure joy and happiness, and a longing for new adventures. These are the sounds of Pierre De Beirut & La Familia.
