Hailing from Vinica, a small town in East Macedonia, Mihail P (@mihailpetrovski) is part of a new generation of artists re-forging a vision of classical techno in their own mould. A student of Architecture and Design in his mid twenties, he grew up with sounds of Vangelis, Kraftwerk, Jean Michael Jarre, Pink Floyd emanating from the home stereo – which has no doubt played a part in shaping the resonance of his musical taste.

After discovering the sounds of UK and Detroit Techno courtesy of Timeline Radio and the Estimuloshow, over the last couple of years he’s struck solid links and friendships with Paul Rimbaud from Distant Worlds, Domenic Cappello and Verdant boss Andy Green who have all played a part in giving him a platform to develop his sound. In turn, exposing him to ever increasing circles and genres of music that he likes to immerse himself in. Between his studies and making music, Mihail likes to draw, especially using black and white ink – having found his way with the technique from quite a young age – it’s a hobby he also likes to indulge as much as he can.

Alongside the drawing, he does a lot of graphic design as a freelancer. As he puts it: “I’m a sucker for a good conceptual design, and am really into beautifully crafter records with sleeve art”.

Seelie has been showcasing his deep love for music for the best part of 20 years. During this time, his passion for dance music culture and its values has manifested in an array of channels.
        
 As a DJ, he quickly became a regular throughout the UK’s clubbing institutions and illegal rave scene, playing alongside the likes of Move D, Chez Damier, Antal, MCDE and Jeremy Underground. Once in Bangkok he founded the infamous Transport parties, using warehouses, rooftops and disused strip clubs to curate secret location events across the city. The Transport crew are passionate about representing diversity and showcasing local talent, as well as inviting some of the worlds finest underground artists.  Now 9 years in Asia, Seelie has become a permanent fixture at some of the continent's most renowned underground parties. Playing yearly at festivals such as Wonderfruit and club mecca’s  Savage Hanoi, The Observatory Saigon, Mihn Hong Kong, Time Manila, Potato Head Bali and Pistil Seoul and Oath Tokyo. 
          
Beyond the club, Seelie has a deep affection for radio and its roots. Whilst being invited to host shows on stations such as Red Light Radio, Mixmag, Refuge Radio and Kiosk, he began the co-creation of Bangkok Community Radio. This community focused platform has allowed him to invite the likes of Heels & Souls, Eternal Love and Planet Trip’s Mike Who on his breakfast show.  Here he showcases his full spectrum selections that span from blissed out balearica to unearthed dance music from every corner of the globe
