The Glitz are back with their next album single. “Golden” is as breathtaking as they come, with a warm and pulsating undertone that irradiates tenderness. The much anticipated single is a fresh breath of electrifying air, with a club mix that carries a rolling groove, playful percussions and Mulay’s mesmerising vocals. The sound is deep and powerful, with a hint of that cheeky attitude that we love from The Glitz.

While the club mix is an excellent match for dance floors, the original version of “Golden” expands in sound, leaving the background noise behind. Mulay’s vocals tell us her story of love and desire. She draws you in, holds you gently in her grip before exhaling you with the fierce groove. Over the course of the singles leading up to the album we find ourselves wondering how The Glitz manage to create such varied, catchy, tender and raw soundscapes. The songs are nothing short of musical ingenuity, leaving you happy and wholesome with the track they just released, while tingling your curiosity of what they are coming up with next.

Hidden Waves


After an intimate closing party with friends and family in Amsterdam last Friday, it’s time to salute you and everyone else that has been following us online. A sign of gratitude. One last present. Our musical testament.

As a final endeavour, we asked all SEKOIA team members to select 5 tracks that have stuck with them through the years. Tunes that fully embody the SEKOIA sound, songs with special stories and music that would directly take them back to special moments experienced in the last four years. 

During a rainy January afternoon, Will Oirson, Florinsz Janvier and Vela Uniform got together in the studio and mixed all these tracks into one, massive 5 hour recording. Our final podcast and our last gift to you. Lots of recognisable tracks, a collection of classics. Songs that will stick with us for the rest of our lives. A podcast with different chapters. There’s something in here for everyone. Please enjoy it as much as we did creating it! 

Unfortunately, for now, it’s time to say goodbye. Our thanks go out to each and every one of you and we hope to see you out in the field!

Through a sleepless tantrum of being lost in a place inside myself of wonder, mystery, and adrenaline; that was my state of mind a month before I realized I was actually going (last minute as always), as all my other priorities quickly seemed to dissolve and I focused purely on this set of music as a gift for my first burning man… performing this set which came together so suddenly and fluidly (rarely happens like that with me and took me back to more naive studio days) live with Robot Heart during the burning of the man shook me to the core with liberating inspiration and was such a unique and uplifting experience it feels like I almost betray the memory each time I try to explain it rashly. There really is nothing else in the world like the collective work ethic, art and communal push forward in Black Rock City during burning man. The coming together of people from all walks of life making art for the sake of art and sharing their crafts and visions openly empowering the strange and the fantastic into the norm and the very real. A phenomenon and celebration of human creativity and science throughout the extremities of nature and conservationism. None of these experiences or music would have come to fruition were it not for the patience and guidance of my close friends Gunita, Nikita, and Benjamin. Also, the accompanying musicians and my brothers who performed with me and took the music to the next level including the all mighty Tomas Barfod on drums and Jeppe Kjellberg on electric slide of WhoMadeWho and the very talented Alexey Etcheverry on violin.  Thank you to the entire Robot Heart crew for the mindblowing creative force they’ve put together in the desert and for inviting me to perform at such a remarkable, liberating and otherworldly moment during the Burn. Happy to share this set and memory and I hope you enjoy it.

We’ve been away from our ‘home’ 🇨🇦 for quite sometime by now. Leading us to question things. Many things. No actually EVERYTHING.
But the whole journey has pushed us to go more inward. Looking for a more lasting place to grow.
One where you can channel from when times are grooovy & heal in when the walls feel like they are closing in. One that stays the same regardless of here or there.
We have learned to celebrate our space from within. Inviting others in.

And in that breath we come to you with a set that includes a lot of unreleased music we've been working on that has helped us build that special place within. So here is to celebrating home spring sun passion love n uuurything in between.

Work in Progress or Casting Call for talent?

I don't know what should be the right name for this mix. I wasn't so sure I should share it at all. It's the first idea and the first version of my Silence Please! mix album. The official release ended up being much more Lithuanian talent and unreleased material centered. Which is a good thing I assume. I had fun listening to it after a while so I hope you will have your fun too.
