Our long awaited second record comes in the form of a vinyl only VA, showcasing a variety of experimental club sounds from the UK’s underground.

UK Bass duo @heritage_ds collaborate with @Delouk on the A1. Following up EARWAX001 and The Reminiscence EP with a signature Bass/Breaks hybrid, Undesirable.

The A2 comes from the Berlin based and Sneaker Social Club affiliate, @Lowendactivist. 'Circle Speak' is a 140bpm low end, club weapon who’s rolling sub bass and mid-track percussion set the precedent and typify’s LEA’s genre bending style.

On the flip, we welcome Leeds producer @Krotone to the label, bringing with him a forward thinking Techno-Garage sound. The gradual onset of signature dubbed out chords on 'Immersed' make for a lengthy hypnotic breakdown and an emotional return to the dance floor.

Closing things out is @yosh_productions, who’s been firing on all cylinders since his 2020 emergence with serious EP's on Vivid, Time Is Now and Holding Hands. His remix of 'Immersed' is an all-out, drums blazing, breaks wobbler.

Loutan's (@loutanclan) tune "Empty Ice Tray" is the first going up from our next release, Refugee Action Compilation. As the name suggests, the release is a 17-track compilation of pure joy, with all proceeds from sales being donated to Refugee Action, an incredible UK charity doing very important work.

Loutan's track is of his usual ilk, with the Moon Rack chief treating us to an incredibly well crafted post-dubstep groover, populated with a splash of think breaks thrown in for good measure. Pushing dreamy chords and a more than hefty baseline to match, we are more than excited to be kicking off the release with this one :)

Bristol based Nuboid has hit the ground running this year, with a segment of his massive collection of productions finally being put out into the world. A talented radio host as well as producer, his contribution to the release is the moody, omnious, breakbreat track “In a Tense City.”

Pulling from the broken, ethereal productions of the mid-late 90’s, Vilhelm’s work refracts a timeless sound through a modernist lens. With a lavishly reverberant sonic palette, the Swedish producer’s Canapé debut observes a playful contrast between sparsity and complexity—a theme that is explored with compelling urgency across the EP’s length. Carried by dynamic passages of sub and break, Vilhelm’s ability to convey feeling within a club-ready track is second-to-none.

Alongside production and DJ-ing pursuits, Vilhelm also runs Villa Records with his younger brother Einar Hasselgren. Established in 2020, the label champions the jungle, drum & bass and dubstep community blossoming on Sweden’s SW Coast.

It was only a matter of time before Bristol’s most exciting purveyor of fast-not-hard atmospheric jungle landed on Time Is Now. Artificial Red - otherwise known as George Young - specialises in the genre’s softer side, with each release immersing its listener in transcendental worlds that seem at once mechanical and organic. Time Is Now Whte Vol.23 is jungle with colour - watercolour - each track stained with shades of orange, yellow, blue and green. Whilst some feature raw percussive techniques to give them a raucous, club-focused edge, others incorporate soulful female vocals and keep things minimal. Whatever your taste, this EP might just be thing you didn’t know you were looking for.
