The Bernie Pearl protégés are heavily influenced by 60’s Country Rock and Chicago Blues. Three from Cudahy form the nucleus: Two high school buddies lead guitar Mario Martinez and rhythm guitar, lyricist Sergio Rincon. Gabriel “Pio” Torres is keyboard and lead singer. The other two come from East L.A. Adolfo Mercado on drums and Robert Guerrero bass guitar. Folks and Co. is a tight professional unit that rocks the stage.
