My inspiration:
In the realm of dreams, where the shadows dance with the ethereal, there lies a barbarian slumber. It is a land untouched by the delicate fingers of time, where the echoes of untamed winds whisper through rugged landscapes of the mind.

Within this nocturnal realm, the barbarian slumbers beneath a canopy of stars, each twinkling luminary a witness to the wild tales woven in the fabric of dreams. The slumbering warrior, adorned in the furs of forgotten adventures, rests upon a bed of moss and memories, his breath a rhythmic anthem that resonates with the primal heartbeat of the universe.

The dreamscape is a vast expanse, a wilderness of imagination where the barbarian roams free. His slumber is a refuge, a sanctuary for the untamed thoughts and desires that stir within the depths of his being. As he sleeps, visions of distant realms unfold like ancient scrolls, unfurling tales of conquest and camaraderie.

I know Miky Mishmash from Cannes, where I travel to every year in June. Miky told me about a song she wrote and that she wanted to record it.

Spontanously we recorded in her living room with a microphone her song. These recordings were forgotten but one year later, in June 2017, when I revisited Cannes she remembered and were going through the wav files. Bad sound quality, but I promised to make something out of it.

So the challenge was: Take a given melody and make chords and finally record a song.
I remember her wishes. No straight rhythm, because that is boring. And something smooth, emotional (oh, so woman like).

Now here is the result.

And because I like Sacher cake I purchased one for breakfast and produced a music video. I cannot say what was more pleasant: shooting the video or eating the cake.
