Makusu and Mélange Orange met many years ago during their involvement 
in Berlins psytrance-scene.
They discovered their mutual passion for similar sounds and grooves and 
have since then built a friendship which transcends mere musical 
commonality. Over the years they have played and created many events 
together, thus playing their part in shaping Berlins trance- and techno-scene… 
bringing some special flavour to the berlin-sound.
In 2012, together with befriended djs and producers , they formed the 
collective "4/4 Pakt" which aims at combining diverse creative outputs.

Makusu:

For nearly two decades Makusu aka Maximilian Haas has been spinning 
the wheels of sound…
In the beginning he started to play the more progressive inventory of the 
psy-trance genre.
Nowadays he is more into techy tunes - deep, danceable and always with 
this psychedelic touch, which picks you up onto the train of trance. 
This kind of techno he plays can be very hypnotic, not in the sense of 
classical trance genre, but in a way of a tribal dance experience…and 
there is no border of velocity downwards.
Tech House, Deep House, Downbeat and other similarly stuff can give you 
a very profound connection to yourself and the universe.
Makusu is one of the dj's who seeks for connection to the dancefloor, 
his intuition for the crowd gives him the chance to send the dancer on a 
journey through deep psychedelic frequencies, the excellent selection of 
tracks attends to the rest…

Mélange Orange:

A frisky child has to satisfy his play instinct - Mélange Orange 
aka Roman Widera has kept this instinct alive since he entered this 
world and channeled it into his musical endeavors. 
Beginning his dj-activities in '95 he has since roamed through a wide range 
of musical genres which now culminate in his highly versatile yet flowing 
dj-sets. His repertoire satisfies the dancers craving for deep journeys and 
euphoric experiences on the floor with the occasional earcandy-surprise. 
The framework consists of driving, deep, hypnotic…4-to-the-floor music.
Since 2012 Mélange Orange has also started producing his own music
…so stay tuned.

This podcast edition is created by the very talented artist VVNEBBA.

VVNEBBA and his artistic activity started in Tbilisi, in the period of transformation of the Techno culture. 
VVNEBBA is an idea, in which the stages of birth and development are compiled, starting from the first touch with the electronic music up to the actual study and development. 
The touch is always related to feelings, as the synthesis of those feelings has created VVNEBBA, “და ივნო და დაეფლა” და შექმნა.

The artist encompasses in his work hypnotic sounds existing around us. With these hypnotic sounds the artists tries to create emotion and share, express his own feelings. 
The work of the artist gathers several genres, in his selections there is Oldschool, Groove, and hypnotic directions, which creates emotional dance music.  
The project is produced by sounds, passion and movement. 

The movement of the artist is known as Albtraum Movement, which entails artists of common direction and musical activism.

Our 30th Paktcast jubilee edition is a 2h special edition...deep, dirty and a proper hint of bouncy tech house dance beats. It is carefully selected and mixed by our longtime friend KAI BLUHME.

KAI BLUHME entered into the world of music by playing the bass guitar in a heavy metal band together with friends from school.
In 1999 Kai founded the group “Sand am Meer” where he was singing and playing the keyboard, which broadened his musical horizon.
”Sand am Meer” which consisted of seven members, performed Psychedelic Dance Music, using real instruments and playing in many different clubs and at music festivals in the north-western part of Germany.
In 2000 Kai started a new project named Midi Monkeys, a Progressive Psy Trance Live Act. Equiped only with hardware and acoustic instruments like guitar, grooveboxes and synthesizers, the three band members were touring around whole Germany and heated up the dance floors. These days of Rock 'n' Roll were a very important experience in Kai's musical career and are influencing his musical style until today.
The different experiences Kai made during the last 15 years are now gathered in his new project KAI BLUHME. Since early 2021 this Solo Prog Project combines driving bass lines and emotional synths. His first projects as KAI BLUHME are remixes of Geschwister Schumann, Francesco Farfa from Italy and fresh DJing.
Kai hopes you are enjoying his sound and that you will meet him soon on dance floors in Germany or somewhere around the globe.

A good friend of us, INA DELBRUEGGE curated some fresh and powerful tracks, mixed them together meticulously - et voilà - ready to enjoy!

Born in the middle of Germany, living in Berlin since 1995, INA DELBRUEGGE has been part of Berlin's techno scene for two decades. 
Before she discovered her love for techno, she was part of the psytrance community during the 1990s. The energy of the communal experience at electronic music events impressed her from the very beginning and still does nowadays.
Clubs like "Tresor" have become her second home and are reflected in her style.

EXOTHERM - An audiovisual project, based on the natural process for the creation of a new substance. The fundamental thought is the requirement to give importance to inconspicuous things and moments.

This draft is the guide for inspiration and the resulting art, whose development is subject to constant change. Arose from an idea to take existing concepts, reinterpret them and adapt them to a mutating world. A conscious reduction of our natural environment to its essential components, the mesmerizing beauty of which you can not get tired of discovering.
In essence, it is also about a relationship whose existence is as old as mankind itself and yet is as significant as ever: The dynamic interplay between humanity and the refuge of nature. Always looking for new impressions and yet focusing on the authentic experience.

We are thoroughly happy to announce our 13th podcast-edition...mixed by one of our favorite dj's and producers...the ingenious FLORIAN MSK.

He walks into the place with a vivid pair of eyes and weathered face marked by an extreme and well-travelled journey in music. There is a roughness to his demeanor and expression as he has really lived the music he has created over the years. Florian gained solid and challenging experience working in major french recording studios such as Miraval, Mega and many more... but his first intense exposure to electronic music was working for several years with the amazing composer “Vangelis”. Armed with this impressive background, Florian initiated the production of his own audio machinery piece by piece, while simultaneously mastering the art of mixing and establishing himself as a dj/producer. Without limits, merging elements of techno, minimal, dub techno and psychedelic. A massive hybrid genre projecting darkness only measurable on richter scale magnitude. Pounding the dancefloor swiftly and mercilessly. Bombing it with frenzy rythmics. Aggressive and repetitive, almost like mental blitzkrieg. Stuff that grabs you from the guts without noise or sanguine saturation and always without boundaries.

He also runs the label "Spatial Cues" - their releases split singles and solo EPs that sound out main(void)’s and Kon Janson’s shared musical space.

SVAROG – a representative of the Ukrainian techno scene. The name for his project was inspired by ancient mythology. He prefers underground techno sounds in his work. Svarog combines saturated timbres, landscape textures and ambient shades, sometimes he uses broken rhythms. He is inspired by mountains and architecture.
