All tracks in this mix were made by producers from Siberia, which is the biggest part of Russia. This is where a lot of my relatives come from too. In this mix the transition is gentle between the hooting of owls and the call for delayed dancing. Long live and prosper the Siberian forests.

Miks IV - Siberia

The today mix consists of late (1980s mostly) Soviet disco. I thought of naming it 'late Soviet', but I liked 'soy latte' more, so here it is. I don't like soy latte, by the way. I hate it. If I'm to choose a vegan option, I'd go for coconut milk. The same vibe I get with this Red Disco - something completely foreign, but every track just hits the right note with me. My favourite one is about the Asian tea house - chaihana. This is the third track.

Vihreja has always dreamed about making an album which would be nothing short of a concept. Finally, the Four Seasons EP is born. All tracks are named after Russian words for seasons and tell stories in 2 languages - English and Russian - of miscellaneous events. But since we live in the times of very limited information representation - such are the stories themselves, and the best language to tell them in their full glory is the language of music itself. As usual.
