Passenger 10 - The true story about sadness (Full Album Teaser)

On Monday 30th, in celebration of Enhanced Sessions’ landmark 250th episode we shall be broadcasting an extremely special extended 4-hour showcase featuring show hosts Tritonal and Will Holland alongside Enhanced stars Estiva and Juventa.
 
Unlike regular episodes, <b>Enhanced Sessions 250 will begin at 6PM CET/ 5PM GMT/12PM EST/9 AM PST</b> with four exclusive hour-long sections presenting the very best in current and future releases from <i>‘the label that delivers tune, after tune’</i> (Mixmag).
 
Kicking off affairs will be the energetic Estiva, supplying his trademark sound with some exclusive plays of upcoming releases and launching the broadcast with his unmistakeable ear for crunching bass and infectious melodies. Following on as-per-usual will be the Tritonal boys in their usual Monday slot time, playing some of their exclusive new material with tasters from the hugely anticipated Enhanced Sessions Volume 4 release - expect to hear some of the most sought after new releases.
 
Next up, Juventa will take to the air waves to present some of his freshest productions and continuing to give first airplay to new tracks from inside the Enhanced camp and form the forthcoming CD release. Finally rounding proceedings off, will be the show founder Will Holland introducing the last wave of brand new tracks and remixes.

On February 2nd, dance music titan Eric Prydz returned to the hallowed BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix decks, taking control of the airwaves for two hours of forward-thinking electronic music. This marked Prydz’ return to the Essential Mix show for the first time since late 2011, when it was recorded live from his set at Creamfields. Andrew Bayer - Distractions EP

The 'Distractions EP' is my first concept work: a piece of music divided into four movements intended to be listened to continuously, clocking in at a half an hour worth of music. The EP is an introduction to a different side of my writing style, giving the listener an insight to my interest in long-form composition. My influences on this piece range from IDM to film music, which give me a wide pallet of sounds and moods to chose from. While the tempo of the piece is 126 BPM, it has the feel of a melodic techno record with the soul of a late 90's progressive trance track. The mood of the piece ranges from the foreboding and anticipating first movement, to the glitch-ridden, hopeful-sounding fourth movement. I used a fair amount of alternative digital signal processing and synthesis techniques, including C Sound and granular synthesis to give the piece's sound design a unique character and timbre. Thanks for the support, and I hope you enjoy the piece.
