Vijon - Till That Day ft. Petrena Whyte

A lover of music from a tender age and born into a devout Christian family, Vijon was naturally drawn to the musical instruments at church and started learning the piano from around the age of 5 yrs. old. With time he managed to fiddle around other instruments, also gaining an appreciation for different genres and eras of music through his teen years. At the age of 17, Vijon managed to get a workstation professional keyboard, upon which he managed to create his own tracks, eventually writing and producing for a few artists and himself (as a singjay). 

Although Jamaican born, Vijon had grew to love the genre of Hip Hop/Rap in the 1990's via it's delivery through artists such as Snoop Dogg, Bone Thugs n' Harmony, The Fugees, Notorious B.I.G., Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliot and the list goes on. But it was not until he was introduced to a rap group called Cross Movement in the late 1990's that he saw that the genre could be effectively used as a tool to change the hearts and minds of men. 

Vijon would now say "I never planned to be a rapper, it sorta just happened". He hopes to use his musical talents to reach the current and next generation who are being enslaved into the "post-modern materialistic 'anything goes'" worldview. Whenever you hear "Vijon on the Mic!" he hopes that you are not only entertained but your consciousness elevated.
