and the hum from my lips

I dance

in the light

and the shadow

of the fire.

I disintegrate

with the embers.

And from the ashes,

I rise into 

motherhood.

Thank you to the dance floors who have watched me blossom, it is soon time for me traverse the passage into motherhood. 

This was the last set I played at Yoga Barn Oct 24, 2021, and I trust it won't be my last. See you on the other side.

EARTH & GROUND (Planetary Root Chakra Sound Healing Journey)

The album "Mirror of the Heart", released in 2013, is inspired by the passion, depth and devotion of Sufi, Middle-Eastern and Indian music. The mostly acoustic sound is spiced up with occasional Western (electronic) ingredients. Prafuls trademark instruments Bansuri (Indian Bamboo Flutes) & Sax lead the way, but featured are also many (Eastern) stringed instruments from different cultures and world percussion. An impressive line-up of guest musicians from Turkey, Persia, India and Europe supported Praful to create a rich, colorful world-sound. Praful sings lead vocals on 4 songs, the lyrics being based on English translations of poems by Sufi mystics Rumi, Hafiz and words by Praful himself. Featured guest vocalists on 2 songs each are Pakistani Sufi singer Shahzad Ali Khan and Australian Earth-chantess Peruquois.

In this inspiring short talk, Richard Rudd shows us the true nature of complexity as a form of forgetting. The more we focus our attention on the phenomena of the outer world, the more we are caught in the web of the inessential, where complexity rules.
