This tune was written with the intention to empower and awaken the divine feminine in all. 

I naturally wrote what BME means with the first verse, had to define it.

The second verse I wrote to honor my South Pacific roots, to ground the present, and to bless the future.

October Super Full Moon ‘21 is when those two songs were born. 

In a tough szn of darkness, it was the creation of music that lit up the way for me to heal.

Not afraid of exploring different genres, esp as a first generation born in America, Tongan woman from the San Francisco Bay Area. 

Song inspired by a true story. 

Tongan kids, Tongan parents, Tongan life in America. A few stories weaved into one song. The thought process, the energy work, healing, changing, the vow to the future. 

Why did I write this song? 

Well, I thought if I died, I would want my kids and grandkids to get a feel for the pain experienced in youth. I want my lineage to know who I am. To hear me. Hopefully learn from me.

“LUE” is a song I recorded at home — unmastered, raw, and honest. It takes its name from the Samoan and Tongan word lue, meaning to shake, to sway, to move. That idea of movement — both physical and emotional — became the heart of this track.
I wanted it to feel like the ocean on a still night: calm but full of motion underneath. Every sound, from the soft percussion to the layered vocals, carries that sense of sway — the pull between where I come from and where I’m going.
This isn’t a polished studio production; it’s a moment captured exactly as it happened — imperfect, real, and full of feeling. “LUE” is my way of remembering the rhythm that connects us all, even when we’re standing still.
