COLD AIR

LUM isn’t your typical electronic artist. Discovered by the mysterious guru Damian Lazarus during a scout for local talent for his Day Zero festival, LUM was found to represent the sound of the ancient Mayan culture. He was born in Argentina, is based in Riviera Maya in Tulum, Mexico, and has spent his life steeped in indigenous cultures. 

LUM’s sound is ingrained in the jungle, as he conducts his botanical research the same way he has been researching indigenous music. He’s prepared an EP for the Crosstown Rebels offshoot imprint Rebellion, and it is a mystical journey through space and time. Listen to the slow-burning “Urpillay,” and catch some Mayan wisdom from the medicine man LUM.

Maximum Joy for those, who felt in love with one of our beloved french boy Sander’s track >Ale’l Vefa< on our last compilation, but also for those, who haven’t explored this lovely, soulful and magnificent track or even the compilation.

Be prepared for this bunch of interpretations, nine different vibes created by - of course Sander - Arjuna Schiks, Dübelu & Philip Chedid, Gulivert, Juan, Luka., Sorä & Masnsn feat. Jugurtha, Wasca and Ioanis & Don Son. Also included is another touch by Sander himself. A maximum of diversity. Each of them a gem. Pure bliss with nice grooves, lovely flute melodies and many surprises for everybody. Much more than good vibes on this. Different moods and a story told by many tongues. Dreaming is guaranteed.

Wherever a breeze stirs there are breasts as cool as jelly, white pigeons come to flutter and rut in the ice-blue veins of the Himalayas. The wallpaper with which the men of science have covered the world of reality is falling to tatters. The grand whorehouse which they have made of life requires no decoration; it is essential only that the drains function adequately. Beauty, that feline beauty which has us by the balls all around the world, is finished. To fathom the new reality it is first necessary to dismantle the drains, to lay open the gangrened ducts which compose the genito-urinary system that supplies the excreta of art. The odor of the day is permanganate and formaldehyde. The drains are clogged with strangled embryos.
