Für die Ewigwachgebliebenen zum Feierabendbier, für die Frühaufsteher als Seelenfutter zum Wochenbeginn: Montagssorbet mit Laut & Luise. Alles erlaubt, was gut tut und Gedanken kreisen lässt, nur der Name ist Programm: cremig, fluffig und ganz schön weich.

Zwischen straff getaktetem Releasetrouble und wild-metaphorischer Wüstenstapferei, schickt sich dieser Montag als allzu angebracht an ein wenig zu verschnaufen (jess). @KeralaDust ist nicht nur gut mit schönen Tönen, eben auch dem guten Ton: Wohl maniert – wie in: gute Manieren – steht die Türe offen zum privaten Wohnzimmerkonzert. Wie die Prinzessin auf dem Sandkorn legen wir uns mal wieder auf den Läufer und lauschen dieser Wüste, der wir eigentlich noch fremd sind.

I like nature and music and I like deep dives into the depths of my own mind.

It’s becoming more and more obvious that my mind is really busy - way too busy. It is always exposed - constantly receiving and absorbing, processing and changing.

I have therefore become more cautious of what I want to let into consciousness and taking regular breaks from the endless stream of stimuli and simply paying close attention to my mind has helped me pierce through the spellbinding clutter of unstoppable thoughts. To me, what reveals itself on the other side is a profound state of
calm. A calm from which natural curiosity, playfulness and love can spring freely.

Music is a channel where I express this natural playfulness that I believe we all share deep inside. Playing my music on top of the Robot Heart bus at their ten year anniversary was one of those precious moments where I felt you were responding to this - we were playing together.

When you express a similar joy and playfulness to that which I create the music with we set a beautiful feedback loop into motion. Getting eye contact with you and seeing how me and my wobbly harmonica notes crack you up into a big smile affects me and really fires me up. 

Your response inspires me to create more and feel more and
express myself more. 

I would like to send a big fat virtual hug to everyone who rode their bikes deep out into the playa that morning and to Robot Heart for  making me part of the family.

As summer is slowly starting up we’re happy to provide you with a foretaste of a sensationally cool summer drink: Oceanvs Orientalis’ Summer Reign is perfectly crafted with only the freshest summer jams.  

Founded by Safak Oz Kutle, Oceanvs Orientalis is a formation which aims to challenge the aesthetic perception in electronic music.

A few years back, the Turkey born producer was not even in electronic music. Working as a graphic designer in Istanbul, he was using his housemate’s copy of Ableton to make symphonic tracks influenced by his love of world and classical music. The turning point came when he put a kick-drum beneath his productions. Since 2011 he performs as DJ and live act. 

And he recently founded his own label, Kanto Records, which he describes as an art collective without restrictions of a run-of-the-mill label companies.

Oceanvs Orientalis, tunes are not in a hurry. So aren’t we on a hot summer day. And so aren’t we sipping on this delicious Summer Reign! Bartender, we’re having another round!
