Influenced by films like Scarface and Manhunter, Vikk Vega's Bring The Heat EP plays as a soundtrack to a lost episode of Miami Vice.

Starting with the throbbing pulse of a nightclub (BRING THE HEAT), we find love on the dance floor (LOVE BUZZ), engage in a helicopter-speedboat chase (RUNNIN’), pause for a moment of tender reflection (OCEAN DRIVE), and end with a romantic motorcycle ride (EXCITEBIKE).

In creating the sonic landscape, Vikk turns to classic synths of the era: the OBX, the DX7, the Juno 60. Rhythms come from the LinnDrum, DMX, and Roland drum machines. Musical influences include Giorgio Moroder, Jan Hammer, Daft Punk, and The Weeknd.
