This set of SWWs was written in memory of a wonderful singer, teacher and friend, Diana Walkley. Here, significant reference is made to Elgar's Music Makers - a score of great insight, I now understand, into a lonely composer: a true 'dreamer of dreams'

Viktor Čižić (Zagreb, 1996) is a pianist and musician who expresses himself through solo and chamber performances, composing, arranging, and improvising. He has performed as a soloist with many orchestras, including the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, Zagreb Soloists, Rijeka Symphony Orchestra, and Cantus Ensemble. Over the past few years, he has received more than ten premieres of his works (including original compositions and arrangements), which have been performed by pianist Vladimir Babin, the Tambura Orchestra of the Croatian Radio and Television, harpsichordist Franjo Bilić, baritone Jurica Jurasić Kapun, clarinetist Sebastijan Sarapa, the Turangalila Quartet, and himself. He defended his graduate thesis on improvisation in contemporary piano performance, which he often integrates into the programs of his own recitals.
