Extract from "Idle EP" [WU68d] - Warm Up Recordings

New installment in our digital series, this time delivered by portuguese sound sculptor Temudo with five cuts of advanced and funked techno. Zoom back starts with phased toms over a continuous sub bass line, until shuffled shakers and subtle synth elements grow from the low part of the spectrum. The random sequence takes over as minutes go by creating an asymmetrical feeling. Tsigalko uses opaque metallic hits and again a heavy sub bass component as starting point. Different sonic elements fill the audio spectrum coming in and out of the arrangement wisely. The Spiritual Song goes straight to the bone with spastik lika snare rolls running over a solid kick and bass foundation. The percussive orgy goes on and on until total mayhem. Cranston uses more floaty elements and reverberated spaces to create a sci fi feeling. The sequences run through the stereo field adding dynamism and detail. Duality closes the release with diverse drum layers skillfully programmed creating a sense of movement while being linear. As track 03, 90% of the sound elements are percussive making a perfect mixing tool for those who know.

'A Dead Body Falling' lays down an intense and deep meticulous melodic venture, exposing his highly addictive modular sounds. Four-by-four workout marked by an intense flavour that repeats throughout the entire track, spiced with spatial sounds that make it an energetic tool destined to do not stop dancing.

'The Shape Of My Drum' is a complex mesh of syncopated industrial rhythms and emphasized soundscapes. It’s a multi-layered exercise where percussions make a powerful passage.

Doubtlessly Reeko is a cult name, the Spanish DJ/Producer delivers a mesmerizing remix that immerses in the creation of a multidimensional effects narrative. Everything in this track is highly precise, where floating patterns shaken by driving saturated drums leads us in a hefty mental experience.

Temudo's remix is a modern approach to Techno, that includes rude and repetitive rhythms. The Portuguese mastermind eliminates any melodic passages, and emphasizes a devastating architecture specially designed for the dancefloor.

Delving into the depths with Viktorias mixes, you will find everything from moody, stripped back cuts - to melodic industrial drivers.
She was part of the vibrant electronic music scene of Berlin 2010-2023 and is active as a DJ for more then 2 decades. One of her favorite residencies to mention was the one at Stattbad Berlin for 5 years - till it had to close its doors in 2015. Continuously building passionate long hour sets, she releases music on labels like Recorded Things, [R]3volution Records, Random Island, LDNwht, Decoy, Viktoria Records... She moved from Berlin in Summer 2023 and is now based in the countryside of Croatia.
