hi. its been so long that idk what to really say here.  

this song means a lot to me because ive been on a journey myself of trying to find my way back home. my way back to myself. finding myself. or rather, returning to myself. 

this account has been with me through so much, and it’s really incredible to see just how far these silly edits have taken me over the course of these years. i realize now that even when i felt completely and utterly lost and alone, god was aligning my steps and cleaning up the road ahead of me. 

its felt really good to dive into the idea of god, and who he is to me. after having been a vehement atheist my whole life, to really have my entire worldview, mind, and perception be changed so much in such a short amount of time has been a mind boggling change for me to experience. 

a journey of truth is never an easy one, but i’ve really felt like ive found the missing piece to my life in him. 

and im happy :)

im happy because i no longer feel defeated everytime I open my eyes, i no longer feel the weight of comparison crushing my spirit whenever i look at my friends and my peers living their truths and making their dreams come true. 

i may not be the best, but thats okay for me, because i’m no longer ashamed to be me. and im returning to who that “me” really is, and it feels good. 

of course there are a lot of growing pains, but ive done so many things in this past year that i never would have ever thought possible for me just 2-4 years ago. 

i played my first international show in berlin (big ty to @candyflip030!) and rn as of writing this im slated to go to las vegas to perform my first domestic show with @purityleech and the roflcopter crew [6.28.2025!!!! so end of this month]

that inner critic inside of me still talks but im learning how to no longer listen to him. im learning what it means to believe in a vision and truly have faith. im learning what it means to surrender. im learning how to take the good with the bad, and find the good IN the bad. 

at the beginning of this year my entire life was turned upside down, i lost my friends, my bf, and pretty much my entire life. and i spent the end of last year living in fear and trying to claw on a door that god had closed for me. but now 6 months into 2025 im actually happier than ive been in a long time. and yes my new life is not easy, god is instilling in me the virtue of responsibility, but it is good. 

and i want to continue growing. I still battle with fear on a daily basis. I still have major anxieties and insecurities. and I still feel so unworthy of any kind of success that whenever I get any sliver of it I have the urge to self sabotage.... but im learning how to OVERCOME. 

i want to continue becoming the true version of me, the me that i never knew i could be. i know it’s in there, and i know i will find him, i just have to keep going, and i need to have faith. and i know that there are things that i want that i may not ever get, but im learning how to become okay with that. 

im finally thankful for this life of mine. and i can’t believe that it’s taken me this long to start living. yes i may be a late bloomer, but im glad to be blooming now nonetheless. this is just the beginning…. this is just the beginning  ⠀ ⠀ ˚₊‧꒰ა 𓂋 ໒꒱ ‧₊˚
