If you like Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, British Sea Power or War on Drugs you'll love TVR Agit-Rock. A heady mix of B-movie samples, blues, folk, Latin, funk and northern psychedelia, TVR Agit-Rock is a band packing a powerful festival punch cut with the aroma of flower power and laced with potent social/political message - proving that music really can bring people together.

The Village Road was formed in 2014 by Tim Harris and Rebel Surfbum as a folktronica outfit; quickly the duo branched out into ever more psychedelic and transcendent territory, embracing new styles, modes of writing and some weird and wonderful new kit. The band would love to go on elaborately about the instruments they use; suffice to say some of it has strings, some of it black and red keys, a few round scratchy things are used and there are some buttons too.

In 2015 the band became 'TVR', and in 2016 Bassface  joined and the 'TVR Agit-Rock' sound was born. With a musical style and mandate all their own, TVR Agit-Rock believe in the democracy of music and the band produce and put their music out for free.
