Sofi Tukker - Veneno (&friends remix)

Kiko Navarro enlists the help of his 13 year old son Hugo for classical-tinged Deep House gem 'Una Mattina' (A Morning), issued on his own Afroterraneo label.

A cover version of Ludovico Einaudi's 2004 solo piano piece, 'Una Mattina' found its way to Kiko's ears as his son Hugo practised for a performance of the work at his school Christmas show. The pair entered the studio and Hugo laid down that iconic piano part in his first ever recording session, before Kiko worked his magic with a supple drum groove, warm strings and vocal pads inspired by 10cc's 'I'm Not In Love'.

For the breakdown, Kiko asked AI to write a poem inspired by the words 'Una Mattina', which were then performed by an actor friend. The result is a spine-tingling electronic reworking of a much-loved classical gem, destined to summon up its own share of emotional dancefloor reverie.

In the mysterious whirlwind of the studio, Etri and Odeon brought their latest masterpiece to life, "Dune." Initially conceived with a strong electronic imprint, the track underwent an unexpected metamorphosis. The result is a piece that defies expectations, a sonic experience without boundaries.

During the creation of "Dune," Etri and Odeon experienced an intriguing anecdote: the challenge of adapting the vocals to the arrangement led the duo on an obsessive quest for perfection, with numerous vocal modifications. The incredible destiny of a small sample loop, initially used as a sketch to build the arrangement, added a surreal touch to the story.

Etri, in his debut release, sees "Dune" as a positive starting point for his career, opening doors to exciting new adventures. On the other hand, Odeon, after collaborating with prominent artists and brands, particularly with Evan, has evolved through various EDM projects, eventually focusing on a more electronic realm with his project "Tight Lexor." Etri, on the other hand, began his journey in 2016, inspired by artists like Sam Paganini and Amelie Lens, constantly experimenting and improving in the field of music production. Both artists bring a wealth of unique experiences that is reflected in the complexity and depth of "Dune."
