Safe Passage

Villainy are back with their new single 'Tiny Little Island', the first taste of new music from the band following the release of their award-winning sophomore album ‘Dead Sight’ in 2015. 'Tiny Little Island' is a post-apocalyptic singalong that simply tells it like it is: “You get the feeling that your offspring won’t survive.”

For vocalist Neill Fraser, the song encapsulates the current state of the mind for the band - "we're constantly wrestling with these two conflicting notions of 'living for the day' whilst also knowing that tomorrow is going to pay for it. You can either hide from that fact, or confront it head on and have as much fun as is humanly possible in the process. We’re doing the latter!”  

Villainy are no strangers to the New Zealand rock landscape having won two consecutive NZ Music Awards for Best Rock Album, appeared at countless festivals as well as being hand-picked to support AC/DC during their stadium tour. Expect to find the band bringing their show back to sweatboxes around the country and beyond during 2018.
