this track came to me at a time in my life where i was really doubting my abilities in music. i kept seeing the time 10:10 everyday, twice a day for a few months and i found out that the meaning of the angel number 1010 is about moving towards your higher purpose in life. i felt like this was the universe's sign of telling me to keep going so i decided to call this song 10:10. it's truly one of my favorite tracks i've ever written & i hope u love it much as i do - villa

i wrote 11:11 in tandem with 10:10 during a time where the future and vision for my project seemed really unclear. like 10:10, i would see 11:11 daily usually twice a day. to me, 11:11 has always been associated with luck or a wish or magic in some way. seeing 11:11 meant to me that something must be working if i kept getting this lucky so it gave me the confidence to keep pushing through my self doubt. i hope this song inspires u to do the same - villa 💜

to me, “lost” is about escapism & not wanting to deal with reality. music has always been a place where i can go in my mind to avoid things i don’t want to deal with. around the time i wrote this song, i felt like my life was going in a very different direction than a lot of people around me and it was confusing and had me feeling very lost so poured those emotions into this song - i really hope u love how this turned out! - villa 💜

CREEDS - PUSH UP (VILLA FLIP) [FREE DL]

sacred is a reflection on a really specific time in my life. i graduated from one of the most conservative catholic colleges in the US in a small town in indiana. while i enjoyed my time there & am grateful for my education, during my 4 years there i really struggled to be my true self because of the intense religious affiliation. nuns & priests taught classes, oversaw student housing & i often felt that if i didn’t act in a certain way i would be judged. there was a huge basilica in the middle of campus & in the mornings i’d wake up to church bells or organs or choirs. i always felt really inspired by these liturgical sounds so sacred really reflects these emotions paired with all the elements i love about trap music :) i hope u enjoy!

so happy for this track to finally be out into the world. i wrote this in tandem with sacred & anti as a reflection on a super specific time in my life. this is probably the most melodic track i’ve ever written & you’ll hear a lot of orchestral string influence in this track inspired by my time spent in classical orchestra growing up. you’ll hear a lot more music like this from me in 2024 :) i hope it makes you feel like you’re in a spooky church 🕯️⛪️🥀 !!
