Endlich wieder Festival Zeit! Woop woop. 

Hier unser Set, draußen, von 17-19 Uhr. 
In Herrenberg zu spielen, war ein geniales Gefühl. Die Absurdität da im Ländle zwischen Fachwerkhäusern und des Dorfs Fußballklub einfach zwei Stunden ALLES zu geben (selbst mit einem lädierten Fuß!!! )... Dass da so was entstehen konnte! Respekt.

"Playing the Sunday morning closing set at Robot Heart at my first Burning Man was one of the most touching and rewarding moments of my musical adventure so far. I have always made music with the desert in mind, and this felt somehow like coming home, sharing it in the perfect environment. 

The manifestation of an intention - a full circle. 

Thanks to everybody who believes in my work and has helped me get this far on my journey, and to all the beautiful souls and amazing creatures who shared this moment and made it a special morning.

Huge thanks to White Ocean for making one of my dreams a reality. This year was my very first Burn… And if you met me on the playa, you know how much fun I had! For those who know me well, this experience was really powerful. I discovered a new part of myself, artistically and socially. And this set at White Ocean was very special. I was supposed to play a 3 hours live set but for many reasons I wasn’t able to do so…  So I improvised a kind of hybrid set remixing and editing some tracks in live. I had never done such a thing before and it was totally insane! Right after I started a big dust storm hit the playa and we couldn't see a thing but it was unbelievable! So epic! The crowd was insane! It probably was the craziest set in my entire life! I will never forget this one. There is so much to say… Just be there.

PREMIERE: Fat Sushi Feat. Archivist - My Empire (Township Rebellion Remix) [Fat Wax]

Their own label, built with no creative boundaries, Radau is a playground where the Berlin quartet remove all limits and expectations and dig deep into the mindset and experimentalism that united them in the first place. 'Frequent Tendencies' sets the scene perfectly. A loosely hewn sliver of emotion constructed just a smidgeon off grid, there's a natural momentum as we're thrust deep inside a vociferous synth hook that rises unapologetically, gradually taking us to a surprise pivot. From here the articulation switches, a whole layer of weight and emphasis on the riff opens up and your crowd won't just elevate, they'll levitate. With plenty more music due on both Radau and beyond, it seems GHEIST's impeccable acceleration over the last two years will continue for a long time to come.

Prelusion: Ein Track der sich anfühlt, als würdest du im Abendrot ein heranziehendes Gewitter über dem Meer beobachten während deine Füße im warmen Sand tänzeln. Mark Tarmonea & Yannek Maunz modulieren ihre Melodie wie eine sich auftürmende Sturmwolke, bevor sie die Luft über der Tanzfläche mit analoger Knarzigkeit marmorieren. Es klingt monumental und dramatisch, ist aber auch von einer zeitlupenartigen Entrücktheit durchzogen. Der Remix von Mollono.Bass hält sich nah am intensiven Melodiegeschehen des Originals, färbt dieses jedoch mit einer etwas dunkleren Klangfarbe ein und schafft durch langgezogene, fließende Bewegungen eine  Stimmung von hypnotischem Understatement. Stephan Zovsky schlägt gewissermaßen die andere Richtung ein, denn er lässt die Lichter seiner technoiden Trommelmaschine blitzen und erzeugt dementsprechend viel Druck im Rhythmusbereich.

Prelusion: A track that feels like watching a thunderstorm brewing in the glow of an evening over the sea while your naked feet are shuffling in the warmth of a sandy beach. Mark Tarmonea & Yannek Maunz modulate the melody as if it was the mounds of a bulging cloud before they marble the air above the dancefloor with the analogue bite of the lead synth. It sounds monumental, it sounds dramatic - yet there’s also an underlying vibe of dreamlike tranquility. The remix of Mollono.Bass picks up the melodic arrangement of the original but presents it in slightly darker colours. Long and fluent movements create an intense feeling of understated hypnotism. Stephan Zovsky goes the other way, as the lights on his technoid drum machines flash like an arcade game, providing a profound amount of rhythmic boost.
