Byron Alvarado is a DJ, Producer and one of the representatives of the powerful sound of Industrial Techno in Costa Rica.
His passion for electronic music began in 2012 as a spectator and fan, and in 2016 he decided to start his process as a DJ at the Costa Rican DJLab academy.
In 2019 he completes the Music Production program of DJLab and Brooklyn Digital Conservatory (NYC), supported by Ableton, Arturia, iZotope and Native Instruments. His learning has been driven in additional workshops taught by great mentors in the music industry such as: Jonathan Wyner, Adam Collins, Gustavo Bravetti, Dan Free- man, among others.
At the beginning of October 2020, his radio program ‘’Alvarado’s Mind’’ begins, which is broadcast every Friday on the urbanetradio.com platform where you can find diffe- rent guests and very special programs.
In his short career, Byron Alvarado has released on renowned labels such as: NECHTO, PURE HATE 000, Set of the Day, Noir Fidelity Records, Oxytech Planet, Subliminal Per- ception, Hush Recordz and Saucetical Records.
His EP called "Mental Breaks" was released on the techno platform HATE LAB and is currently the best-selling EP on the Noir Fidelity Records label on the Beatport plat- form.
He has also been invited to an international podcast by the following labels: 666666, Set of the Day, Oriente B2B Medellín.
In 2021, Byron Alvarado participated in episode # 10 of Scary Beautiful, a project deve- loped and supported by the renowned Ukrainian DJ Nastia, with his track Cordón de Plata, a song that is part of the LP series of the NECHTO label `` NECH016 '' released on October 29, 2021.
