GLOBAL FREQUENCY—Grown up in the east of Austria, I started playing drums at the age of 15. In 5 years of drumming i played in a few punk rock bands.
At the age of 19 I felt in love with the clear sound of electronic music.
Inspired by psytrance and some psychedelic experiences i was really exited about this new way of loosing myself totally into music. After a few weeks I noticed that listening to this music isn't enough for me. I started Djing in winter 2010. After a few months and gigs in Austria and Hungary I was always looking for the most psychedelic and intelligent music in this genre. In summer 2012 I finally found this kind of music when i was getting part of the "cosmixed society" family. Early 2014 started making our own crew called "shipibo sounds".
I love to play organic psytrance from 140bpm - 155bpm.

[ENGLISH] Few projects capture the essence of modern progressive trance as perfectly as Protonica.

Originally formed by Piet Kämpfer and Ralf Dietze, the German duo built a unique identity: steady basslines, immersive melodies, and atmospheres that always seem to look toward the future.

In this tribute recorded in 2025, I gathered 22 tracks that showcase the full scope and power of the project. From anthems like Discovery, Gravity, and Northern Storm to memorable collaborations with names such as Liquid Soul, Zen Mechanics, Ace Ventura, and Tristate.

The set also explores powerful remixes like I See The Spirit, The Matrix, and E.B.E, along with special moments like the new track Earthrise and the timeless classic Floating Point, which still resonates on dancefloors today.

More than just a collection of hits, this is a deep dive into Protonica’s signature sound: sophisticated, timeless music that continues to inspire generations.

" THE OTHER SIDE " couldn't be any better, 4 fresh remixes of biggest names of psychedelic trance music, Sensient, Tetrameth, Hypogeo and Pick. This release brings you a new perception of Progressive Psychedelic music in a deep and groovy way. Trying to blend unique approach and emotional perception of sounds, each track takes you into different dimensions without disconnecting Dharana bass line style, percussions and attention to the high level of details. As it should be, a good history is made by beginning, middle and end, that's what it best describes each track.
