Having served up some of the finest techno slabs of the past decade through the likes of Sandwell District, Stroboscopic Artefacts and now their own dedicated imprint, Eaux, Rrose steps in the series with a bonkers mix of dusty techno hustle-and-bustle, neatly alternating sequences of pumping 4x4 aerobatics, searing, noise-adjacent outbursts and eerie melodies to hypnotic effect. A constant balancing act of raw power and haunting score, Rrose’s RYC mix takes us on a deep and fascinating trip into genre-unbound territories, where only abandon and wildness reign supreme. We are deeply excited to share Donato and Marco’s grand finale for the last edition of Terraforma at Villa Arconati. With great humbleness, these two masters and dear friends have carefully broadened and lulled, record after record, an intimate space of trust, exchange and deep-time connection. 
 
Also, we’d like to add a fond memory that was shared with us a few days after:

“Dozzy and Shuttle’s finale unfolded like twilight. A prolonged dusk caressed by an eerie drizzle. Shadows and whispers echoing with the surroundings. Synapses slowly reaching the ground, merging and becoming one with the underground rhizomatic networks. A memorable rendez-Nous within a fractal space. It felt like being at the core center of the matrix, enveloped by a warmth reminiscent of a maternal womb. I found myself in a weightless suspension, envisioning the past, the present and the future, all together in a blink of an eye.”

NC based artist Chainletter delivers 5 slinky hypnotic broken techno excursions for PPRZ. The EP spans an array of tempos and atmospheres, weaving choppy drum programming and various moods catering to heads down dancefloor moments. 

Chainletter is a producer that uses music to connect people through collective experience by creating late night wormholes. Whether they’re using CDJs, or an unsuspectingly minimal hardware rig, you can expect to be enveloped by their unique sound. Focused primarily on ambient and techno they use sequencers and synths to make time expanding atmospheres and wonky rhythms. 

Dedicated to DIY they’ve been playing and organizing parties since 2012 around Durham NC where with friends they started Triangle Rave Committee a collective that aims to create safe dance floors for lgbtq people while raising money for people experiencing hardship including but not limited to incarceration and houselessness, while also giving platforms to local artists outside of conventional venues, typically under bridges and in the woods.
