This year I’m dropping a series of free downloads and this is the first of many. I want to push my sound into remix culture and experiment with styles while having fun.
For this one, I decided to take something different from what I normally do purely for personal enjoyment: a DnB remix of the viral track “Let The World Burn” by Chris Grey, flipped into a hard-hitting Drum & Bass / Neuro vibe with aggressive energy and dark textures.

VNA, better known by friends and family as Vinay Patel, is a force to be reckoned with in the Houston rave/nightclub & underground electronic music community. 
He’s been spinning since the turn of the century and has managed to constantly reinvent, grow, progress and advance in his taste & style of music. It’s really not possible to put VNA in any type of specific category of electronic music because it really all depends on the era, his mood, his crowd, where he’s at and what he’s feeling. He has a very flexible and versatile  musical palette. He’s a master of putting together some of the most authentic mixes that will take take you on a journey, every song selection chosen by a guy who has a deep knowledge, ear and understanding for good music. Each track complimenting the next, creating some of the most carefully crafted mixes ever. His styles encompass blends of progressive/tech/funky house as well as electro, cut n scratch breaks and drum & bass. 
VNA never fails to deliver and guarantees to get you moving on that dance floor. His mission as an artist is to keep the night going strong by infusing his own eclectic style into the sound pumping over the speakers and into the crowd. 
He’s spun at numerous clubs all around the lonestar state including Lotus Lounge, Avant Garden, Jet Lounge, MBAR, The Orbit Room, Karma (Houston), Karma (Austin) and all up & down Washington Ave. He’s spun in various underground warehouse parties in Houston & Austin as well as regular events in other states like DEFCON in Las Vegas. He’s also spun at a couple of massive festivals like Spring Love & BURNING MAN! His longest residency was REVOLVE @ Numbers.
Vinay is classically a vinyl DJ at heart although he is able to spin using all the more modern DJing techniques as well. 
He’s also a member of the legendary TRAFFIC CREW, a collective of artists, dancers, friends, promoters and DJs (also, one of my personal favorite H-Town party crews; best people ever) who put out some of the most intimate, one-of-a-kind, plur-filled, authentic parties in the 2000s which was a hard time for raves with The Rave Act and all. However, Traffic Crew, were not willing to lay down the glow sticks and managed to continue doing their thing low key. Anyone that’s in Traffic Crew is a real m'fer with a good heart that knows the art of getting down underneath the disco light.
