Between them, John Digweed and Nick Muir, producers of the finest electronic dance music, have been involved in many pivotal moments in the world of club music over the years and have in many ways helped to define genres & push the boundaries further. Their partnership has been one of electronic music's most fruitful pairings, creating a body of work that’s seen them become one of the world’s most highly regarded production duos. Joining forces with Detone boss Darren Emerson, who since his pioneering days with Underworld has remained at the forefront of the electronic scene across the last three decades for good reason, is a mission statement, showing that this illustrious trio are not resting on past laurels, but always developing themselves musically in exciting new directions.

Rather appropriately, in its original form ‘Tracer’ is an unmistakably heavyweight, pulsating, peak-time monster, loaded with menacing, fizzing, energetic, celebratory creative abandon. Meanwhile, Darren Emerson’s ‘Womb Mix’ develops ‘Tracer’ into an equally stunning, bombastic, stripped back, techno colossus, showcasing his supremely individualistic creative flair. In perfect juxtaposition to the trio’s versions, the dialled-back, low-slung, brooding throb of Ruede Hagelstein’s mesmerizing interpretation, bristling with unrivalled electronic detail, perfectly rounds what is an exceptional creative circle. 

In this day and age to not only survive as an independent label, but to flourish and constantly evolve, bringing forward and developing new and exciting talent to stand equally alongside established household names, is something that should be applauded. The global respect and love that Bedrock has steadily gained through years of releasing quality dance music that rides the waves of trends and fashions is second to none. 2017 has already seen a steady flow of exceptional Bedrock releases and there is so much more to yet to come.

Revisiting some of the year's biggest tracks in techno, Nicole Moudaber's MOOD Records presents 'Best of MOOD 2018,' mixed by label favorite Carlo Ruetz. Available for digital download December 21 and featuring artwork from mixed media fine artist, Peter Max-Jakobsen, the release comes as only the second compilation from the MOOD Records imprint after surpassing a milestone 50 releases in 2017. Delivering the stomping four track 'Stormer' EP this past June -- which saw plays from the likes of Adam Beyer and Anja Schneider -- Nicole Moudaber taps fast rising star Carlo Ruetz for the label compilation. Highlighting MOOD Records original tracks from Fur Coat, POPOF, Stephan Hinz, and remixes for Moby, Nicole Moudaber and Carl Cox, the 12-track compilation represents the label's leading take on dance music.

We welcomed him to the MOOD family with his 'Stormer' EP in June and he also joined me at MoodZONE at BPM Portugal earlier this year. Opening with Wigbert's "Moonlight," the nine minute acid saga builds until the rattling percussive beat of Stephan Hinz's "Conspiracies" takes the lead. Teaming up for their MOOD Records debut, Italian techno maestros ANNA V & M.I.T.A., transport listeners to another dimension with the warping sounds of "Through The Wormhole" followed by the minimal, yet transforming motif from SUDO's "Abstract." As the first of his two tracks on the compilation, Carlo Ruetz's "Surrender" sets the perfect stage for the Truncate peak-hour remix of Nicole Moudaber and Carl Cox's classic number, "See You Next Tuesday." Turning to a remix from the MOOD Records label boss herself, Nicole Moudaber crafts a spellbinding, ambient techno atmosphere with her innovative take on Moby's "Like A Motherless Child" before the compilation goes into overdrive with Venezuelan duo Fur Coat's "Spiral" and "Alone In The Dark" from POPOF. The intensity continues with Stephan Hinz's "Fearless" with its synth hook throughout fading into Sly Faux's mesmerizing "This Made You." Rounding out the mix with another of his tracks, Carlo Ruetz stays true to MOOD Records' sound with a dark attitude on "Silence."

Continually expanding its influence on today's biggest names and tomorrow's future stars, the imprint regularly stands tall in the vast techno-sphere. With her experience as a promoter, Nicole Moudaber's brand has evolved into event concept takeovers with MoodRAW, which included an iteration at this year's Official Movement Closing Party and a recent sold out night with Dubfire b3b Nicole Moudaber b3b Paco Osuna at Avant Gardner in Brooklyn. Also taking off on the international festival circuit, her MoodZONE stage takeovers have landed to the forefront of dance music with slots at EDC: Orlando and The BPM Festival: Portugal. After launching her weekly radio show In The Mood in 2014, Nicole has commanded an army of 20 million listeners weekly in 80 countries and connects with countless global fans via her award-winning Mixcloud show. The show's success has also resulted in the invitation to be one of just a handful of artists to be involved in the launch of Mixcloud Select, where she'll be donating 100%% of the first years proceeds to her ELEVEN campaign, which aims to end the brutal practice of female genital mutilation (FGM) worldwide.

After some years of sound experiments and music production studies whereof one year he visited Deutsche POP academy in cologne, germay, vince weyn released his debut EP on Bonkers Records in early 2019. During the year he continued his work with the mexican based label in two compilation releases, followed by a remix, as well as his second solo ‘Inception’ EP. 

Weekends were time with his local crew for some DJ gigs in his hometown party scene in the "ruhr pott".
