In today's disposable, here-today-gone-tomorrow world of Electronic Music, it can, on occasion, feel like there are more DJs, producers & record labels than there are actual clubs and clubbers. It's a densely populated and over saturated market place, where its becoming increasingly difficult to cut through the noise and stand out from the crowd. Unless that is, you know a thing or two about making a name for yourself.

Step forward Dave Seaman & Steve Parry, Acid house lifers with decades of experience between them who 6 years ago decided to join forces and embark on another chapter in their illustrious careers by setting up independent label, Selador Recordings. Together they have carved out a reputation as providers of the finest in Melodic House & Techno and many of the subtle shades in between. They stubbornly refuse to be constricted to the kind of niche genre policy many of today's labels seem to adopt and its a formula that has served them well, attracting some of the best producers in the business to rally behind the Seladorian battle cry.

As the imprint reaches its 100th release, by way of celebration, Dave & Steve have assembled a crack team of producers to tackle a handful of the labels landmark back catalogue that had not been previously remixed. Until now! Calling on André Hommen, D-Nox & Beckers, Doc Martin, Kotelett & Zadak, Moonwalk and Petar Dundov to reinterpret the collaborative works of Dave & Steve themselves, Gorge & Joeski, Guy Mantzur & Lonya, Cristoph & Quivver and Luke Brancaccio & Tim Healy - its a mightily impressive cast.

A fizzing, crackling backdrop powers a new sonic arsenal from southwestern Germany, Tantum explodes out of Karlsruhe in brilliant "Photism". Aural shards pierce the frequency spectrum with pinpoint precision as heavy beat anchors. "Follow Me" with continued narrative and sonic synchronicity. Bassline cadence and hi-hat groove are wrapped in warm rhythmic blanket while analogue motif creates a new melodic mosaic. Patterns swirl enriching the auditory senses – buzzing and swirling they saturate the mind in iridescent colours.

A Luxembourg star, once again in ascendance sparkles with a new "Photism". Synaesthetic colours emerge from Chook's mind, brilliantly conceived they converge in sonic patterns that spin and eddy across the mind's eye. Echoes of Tantum rip through bassline power and saturated brilliance. A Mango Alley debutant finds Arude forging his own path. "Follow Me" creates a new vision, unencumbered by convention as a legato lead slides in mesmeric fashion and familiar fragments permeate the sonic consciousness. Rising and falling with consummate ease, snare fills and rolling groove showcase talent in abundance.

ICONYC is delighted to welcome Dekkai with their brand-new 'Paradox EP' to the label. The talented producer duo has been a well-known entity within the scene and have graced some of the world's finest electronic music labels with their unique and lasting productions. 

On their debut Dekkai lead with the outstanding opening title track 'Paradox; a stunning driving melodic progressive house affair. The track utilizes a deep groove as foundation, underpinned by a profound bass and smooth synth chords that gradually ease their way to the summit. Unified by a relentless kick drum and dusky atmospheric emotion, the composition climaxes by adding recurrent percussive elements and soft soaked melodies that come together to create a structured sphere of sonic satisfaction. Clever synth phrases complete the picture and create an ingeniously worked piece of art.

The darker soundscapes of the accompanying title track 'Temple of the Snake' round off this spectacular release. Dekkai's influences are immediately evident as subtle freeform concepts drift through percussive inspired instrumentations. Rippling melodies trip along a deep kick that anchors an auricular montage to create a special sonic infused moment, accompanied by a subtle chord line that is going to leave a mark on your aural perception. Essential stuff!

The Beirut bound producer Köschk has been known for a unique, silky smooth progressive groove, & has been entitled as "a little diamond on the scene". 

Lebanese DJ & Producer Köschk (aka Vince Aoun) has been around since he hosted his online radio show "Catalepsy" from 2010 till 2015. Over those years, his tracks got notable releases on many labels around the globe, including Paul Van Dyk's VANDIT Records in May 2015. Later that year, Vince decided to explore new horizons with his sound by debuting on Bonzai Progressive with his fantastic track "Lilium". In 2016, he came out as Köschk, delivering a wonderful insight into the world of Techno & Progressive; & gaining a great deal of support & features on top download portals & charts alike. Since then, Köschk's work has been widely received with awe & acclaim as he ensures tunes of the highest quality, delivers top-notch works, & cements his reputation as one of the rising stars in the scene.
