Having performed at car shows with the band, we had to include this song on our play list.  Trust me, singing the lead vocal on a tune like this is not easy.  We had to be tight to carry it.  This recording is the result of a lot of practice and performances.  Enjoy!

I love singing this song because (if you promise not to tell anyone else)I've had many a "right time of the night" in my life.  Perhaps my version of this hit song will remind you of some you've had as well.

Right Time Of The Night

It must have been performing this Orbison tune so many times that inspired me to finally leave Ohio and move to Florida by the ocean.  Yep, just sitting on the beach and watching the surf come in while feeling sand between my toes..."the silvery moon and the evening tide"...Paradise!

Blue Bayou

Our arrangement of this Presley tune is as raw as good ole rock 'n roll gets.  I'd strap on my guitar, step up to the mic, count off the beat, and let 'er rip.  What fun!

Little Sister

This "Fabulous Ventures" tune is one of the first instrumentals that we guitarists learn to play so I hope you enjoy our version.  We guitarists would walk out onto the main dance floor while the keyboardist and drummer backed us up whenever we performed this tune.  It was a crowd pleaser every time.

Walk Don't Run

Although we were a rock band, it was impossible to not include some country music tunes in our repertoire.  I had no problem memorizing the lyrics to this classic Eagles tune.  What man wouldn't?  Awe, smile!

Tequila Sunrise

It was always hard to sing this song with the band without chuckling through the second verse.  Listen close and you will hear me start to lose it just like I did every time we performed it.

Recording this song with the band was a ton of fun.  It paints a picture that is humorous and brings some chuckling from the audience not to mention all of those who enjoyed dancing the cha-cha to it.

Come A Little Bit Closer

Although, I sang the lead on this tune there is no doubt that all of the band members would agree that it is a tough one to get right.  Well, this is the best we could do so we hope you don't mind it we jacked it up and threw it into overdrive with some good ole heavy metal distortion.

All Day and All of the Night

How could we call ourselves a rock band if we did not include some Beatles tunes?  Here is our version of it with a strong midwestern USA sound as compared to the original Liverpool England sound.  I sang the lead but am definitely no John Lennon.  What fun!

I Saw Her Standing There

Although this song pre-dates my teenage years, it seems to have stood the test of time when it comes to performing it for romantic couples who enjoy dancing to it.  After singing it, I would hear responses like "You took us back to our prom" and "You reminded me of when I made out with Betty Jane Louis when I was seventeen."

Hold Me Thrill Me

My band performed at a lot of veteran's clubs where this song was always met with everyone in the place making a big circle and singing the choruses with us.  America has its problem but, God willing, we will always be the "land of the free and the home of the brave.

God Bless the USA

Love that good ole rock 'n roll but, as long as it is music that helps others to forget their problems for a few moments, count me in!
