Techno sets November 2019

I am lucky enough to have the honour of creating a mix for RTÉ 2fm, a radio station that had a lot of influence on me in my early years with Mr. Spring and John Power and their weekend shows. It was also on this very station I heard the Dave Clarke Redbox 2002 set while me and a few of my mates sat in my room (a mattress and a table with decks and records) and were in awe of what we were hearing. That was what made me start collecting techno records.

Many people know that I started playing hard dance in 1999 and continued to do so for over a decade while still collecting techno just for me to listen to and play in my room.

When I met the Gobsmacked Records guys, Diarmaid O Meara and Luke Creed, at a gig in Cork they took me under their wing and Luke invited me down to Waterford to show me the ropes of producing techno music. It was from then on my love for techno made me hang up the hard dance shoes and focus on techno which had grown to be my real passion in electronic music (I still love hard dance, 150 BPM madness, how could you not :P ).

I have since then had the privilege of being part of the Gobsmacked Rec crew doing A&R and I will be accompanied on air with others who have joined the journey namely Patrick DSP, Kucera and of course label boss Diarmaid O'Meara.

Millhouse has been bangin' out the tunes for over 20 years, playing in
venues across Europe. He has worked played side with some great DJ's and producers in the industry; including Dave Clarke, Jerome Hill, Luke Creed, The Lady Machine, Diarmaid o Meara, Dave the Drummer, Oliver Kucera, Patrick DSP and many more.

In 2010, Millhouse saw his first few releases, firstly a collaboration
with Luke Creed on Kamikaze Records. His first solo release on
Gobsmacked Records’ 50th release along side other techno hard hitters Space Djz, Vegim, Concrete Djz, Diarmaid o Meara, Luke Creed and KarlCullen. 

Since then Millhouse has had his tracks played by some of the
biggest stars of the techno world and continues to play the freshest
most original techno tracks. In January of 2013, Millhouse made the
decision to move to Berlin to work closer with the Gobsmacked Records label eventually taking over as the A&R.

Since moving to Berlin, Millhouse has played several gigs with some of techno’s biggest hitters such as Gayle San, Patrick DSP, Jerome Hill, Decka, The Lady Machine and many more. Along with this since moving Millhouse has seen a string of releases on such labels as Forte, Wunderblock, Variant and of course Gobsmacked. Millhouse continuously shows his musical dynamics in mixing and producing.

He's known and respected for his dynamic ability to play tracks from Dark DrivingTechno to Funky and Hard Techno and his love for solid base beats and driving basslines.

Artist: SCØPE

Scøpe, a Korean techno producer and DJ, runs SCOPÁVIK podcast series that introduces mix of skilled techno artists from all over the world. And he is holding a regular party called SCOPÁVIK in club vurt. In 2018, he started running a record label of the same name and is establishing his own world of music.
Kim has also released in Newrhythmic recs, Analog Section Records, Warok Music, BAHN· Records, Android Muziq and Counterpulse Audio.
His dynamic DJ sets almost push the listeners into trance by eliciting their subconscious movements with new grooves which rhythmical structures in each track organically intertwine with each other and incrementally accumulate into, and then all of a sudden lead them to a lyrical tone, thus presenting listeners with the type of joy that only techno music can deliver by creating an intersection between reason and instinct.

BFVR is a new ambitious and determined talent from France. Influenced by electronic music at the age of 15, he has been travelling festivals and music events, being inspired by various artists of the electronic scene (Lewis Fautzi, Oscar Mulero, Tensal...) to conceive a powerful hypnotic and mesmerizing techno.
His music is presented as a universe composed of mysterious and haunting melodies on a dark and rhythmic techno base.

His hard work allowed him to perform in different countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy...) and to be signed on worldwide techno labels including Black Square Recordings, Dolma REC, Eclipse Recordings & many others...
He also launched his own label "Fever Recordings" to release original and quality Techno productions.
