I play tracks which include Kevin Armstrong on guitar including two of his own recordings, but you get to hear, Iggy Pop, Bowie/Jagger, Prefab Sprout and Morrissey. Bowie On TV highlights the 1980 'Floor' Show and the Bowie Playlist is from A Reality Tour in 2003.

This week on the show we had fire from room 2 at the previous weekends Mungo's HiFi/Noise Pollution event with sets from myself, Designate and Xone Ranger. I was on warm up chill tunes duty and this was the first time I had played a three hour intelligent drum and bass set at an event in many years. It was wicked to hear the tunes on the Void rig! Big ups all who reached ... Especially if you were there from the 5pm start!    =)

The Perfect Pitch Show With Vincent Vega - NCB Radio, 18.2.23

Quiet and unassuming amongst us bawdy scousers, Mike was part of our going out gang in Liverpool and always great to see in the pubs and clubs in London in the late 80s and early 90s. Our paths changed and we reconnected on Facebook.  He was still listening to great music and had found a wonderful soulmate. So shocked to be told he lost his life at Primavera last week. This show is dedicated to his memory. Mike Wilde RIP.

I like going away so this one is about, well its a series of short recollections about the hotels I have stayed in. Mostly unremarkable corporate boxes, but some of them were interesting for different reasons.  Hotel themed songs too.  

A Track by Chris Penney - Make Me Your Monster, might be its first airing on the radio. A Mountain of One and The Japanese House are also new to me.

Happy New Year! Old Old vibes from my past before or just as the breaks started
rolling for me,  an eclectic window of tunes, years and vibes back in the day. No its not Drum and Bass,  its dance music evolving and, shaping the future for what have now.

PFM -Old Skool Dance Anthems from the early 90s

Vincent became interested in mixing/DJing back in the 80s when he first heard a street sounds hip hop electro album and wondered how they managed to join the individual tracks up so seamlessly.

Having collected vinyl his whole life he bought a mixer in 1989 (no easy thing in Cornwall back then) and started trying to beat match on his father’s turntables.

Vincent got his own Technics 1210s mk2 in the early 90s and after some practice, he was soon playing house, hardcore and techno at parties across the Southwest under the name of DJ Cutting Edge.

Jungle and Drum and Bass seemed to be the next step. After listening to LTJ Bukem’s first essential mix in 1995 he really started to follow the Intelligent Drum and Bass sound.

Today, Vincent can be found playing Liquid and Liquid Funk tunes, delighting crowds across the Southwest with some nice a-men break business and sweet turntablism out of love for the old school. From time to time he can be found dropping a Jungle set somewhere in Cornwall as well as various House nights.
