Some members from @Love-Foundation and @HugRecords are living together in the Sierra Estrella Mountain Range in Portugal, where we are rebuilding an old abandoned village, called Foz da Cova.

We have a little music studio here and sometimes we have befriended musicians coming by for a visit.

Sometimes these friends play music for us and sometimes we press the record button when they do so.

This is the second of those times.

Our second Pod da Cova comes from @benflock_terrybenedikt , a long time Love Foundation Resident who spend November and December with us in the mountains. Ben normally lives in Berlin, where he is part of Love Foundation and Orbiting Souls. He will take you on a journey to the Portuguese Outback and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Open Soul Session #26 - Velvia

It's up to Violet to step up to the plate for our final podcast of the year. The Lisbon-based artist, honcho of the naive & naivety labels, co-founder of Rádio Quântica ánd co-organizer of a queer event series called mina is one the main faces of Lisbon's exciting and blooming underground music scene.

Her mix is a textbook example of elegant and controlled chaos, going from electro to bass to rave, leaving us on a high tension for 60 minutes. We couldn't close the year any better if you'd ask us.

Chuang Tzu was a philosopher in ancient China, who, one night went to sleep and dreamed that he was a butterfly. He dreamt that he was flying around from flower to flower and while he was dreaming he felt free, blown about by the breeze hither and thither. He was quite sure that he was a butterfly. But when he awoke he realised that he had just been dreaming, and that he was really Chuang Tzu dreaming he was a butterfly. But then Chuang Tzu asked himself the following question: "was I Chuang Tzu dreaming I was a butterfly or am I now really a butterfly dreaming that I am Chuang Tzu?"
