Welcome to what could possibly be our finest VA since the inception of the label. With 8 magnificent tracks of varying intensity, style, groove and attitude. Variant shall always be variant. 

This EP bring together six amazing producers, in Regular, SØRN, Luke Creed, Dalosso, DNoize, and Natasha. Four regular featured artists, and two brand new to the Variant Electronic roster, in S?RN & Regular, when you listen to the two artists tracks you can hear why they have come on board, their music is meant for the label, Regular with "Polarity -" & "REG#1" two tracks with great technical production values, and immense progressions, deep and heavy pulsating, and full of attitude. SØRN brings a different yet gently appreciated attitude with "Denied" & "For Other Uses" both tracks remind me of an era gone, but still alive on our roster, Denied with its deep melodic rhythms, and For Other Uses with its out of this world crazy as hell synth line, both tracks are immense in production and are welcome on the Variant Electronic catalogue. 

Then we have tracks from Natasha, Luke Creed, Dalosso, and Dnoize. 4 incredible tracks that we have come to expect from the label regulars. Dalasso with a tough as nails and full of attitude banger with "Magnetic". Natasha with a nice funky banger in "Consciousness". Dnoize doing what Dnoize does best, fast paced and rhythmic with lots going on, never giving in. Last but not least Luke Creed brings an experimental one by his standards in "Apollo" a really deep yet banging track with some unusual progressions. I hope you enjoy each and every track as much as we did sourcing them for you.

Patrick Mason and Rekids boss Matt Edwards return for their second appearance as SRVD with two cuts entitled ‘RAW FILES’.

Not confined to a single art form, Patrick Mason is a young creative at the forefront of Berlin’s art, fashion, dance music and LGBT scene; an influential club kid who developed a friendship with Matt Edwards after a chance meeting in Panorama Bar, resulting in numerous studio sessions and improvised live sets. Joining forces in 2018, the pair adopted their SRVD moniker – an alias inspired by New York’s vogue scene – before dropping their debut release on Rekids, playing at various clubs (notably Panorama Bar), not to mention an unforgettable performance at Boiler Room x Pornceptual.

‘The Yard Man’ presents rattling drums, piercing vocal chants and a tormenting melody that SRVD has been destroying dancefloors with over the last year. On the flip, ‘Brotha’ presents a compelling groove as a shuffling rhythm joins abrasive synths and Mason’s penetrating voice.

Amsterdam’s @twr72 joins AEPOБИК to release three galvanizing techno cuts entitled ‘X-Static’.

TWR72 has fashioned a forward-thinking approach towards electronic music, fusing wavering rhythms with a sharp, signature groove. TWR72 established his Float Records imprint in 2014 which acts as a home for many of his productions, in addition to supporting both new and renowned artists such as Sleeparchive, Mike Parker, Hemka, Dold and many more. ‘X-Static’ sees TWR72 join the AEPOБИК imprint following releases from Erhalder and label founder Aux Couture that picked up support from the likes of Ben Sims, Dave Clarke, Len Faki, and Luke Slater to name a few.

‘X-Static’ is made in appreciation of the 90’s rave culture with TWR72 naming the tracks after rave parties from that era. ‘X-Static’ begins proceedings with weaving synth flutters, sharp percussion and effervescent modulations combining to create with ecstatic opener before ‘Fantazia’ delivers shattering kicks and highs balanced neatly with driving oscillations and undulating toughness.

‘Pulsation’ then rounds things off with pulsating drums, reverberating low-end and otherworldly melodic patterns fusing to devise an ethereal atmosphere to finish.
