it's been an utter journey for me to cover this beautiful song, I would like to dedicate this one to myself, a love letter to oneself and to all those who feel like they are not enough — sometimes. While singing this cover, I was talking to myself, knowing that there are many parts of me that I should be proud of and celebrate... and still sometimes I feel like I'm not cheering up for myself, I'm not always acting like I'm my biggest fan BUT WE ALL SHOULD... This song which is originally performed by JJ Goldman, is one of my favorite from his collection. I've been feeling nostalgic lately going back in time and looking back on my childhood and time spent with my family. I lost my hero, my grandpa 3 years ago and when I used to listen to this song, I used to feel like the words (which FYI are in French) remind me so much of that special relationship that my grandfather and I had. He will forever be my hero.
