With 'Fire in Me' we welcome Innėr Sense to ICONYC in collaboration with vocalist Dana Barbara. The duo delivers a slice of warm, pulsating club vibes. The original track kicks things off with its melancholic moodiness shining through as we meander effortlessly through club inspired melodies, while the sultry bassline and Dana's vocals sit wonderfully on top, adding an extra layer of depth and class. The duo mean business and it is evident with every step of the way. Essential stuff!

On remix duty we welcome Stone Van Brooken for his debut on ICONYC with a thumping remix for the ages. The French producer who is known for his driving melodic techno influenced sounds, keeps the ethereal theme of the original alive. It's all about the groove, cool melodic vibes and the deep driving beats that are working their magic around Stone's wonderfully arranged keys and the wonderful use of elements on offer. 

The second remix comes courtesy of Octavio Gimenez. His unique act and emotional creations carry quite a large scope. He is not afraid to explore esoteric or introspective themes and the end result is always a compelling one. Such is the case with his remix of 'Fire in Me', which carries many of his loved production hallmarks. From a warm, meaty low end to icy atmospherics and an effects storyboard to get lost in, there is certainly a lot to like. The main break is perhaps the high point, with the mood shifting from emotive to ominous with effortless ease.

Italian Techno Mix #1 x Mixed by Viny Deep

The title track, "Echoes of Eternity," is a progressive house masterpiece. Ghazi weaves a tapestry of amazing chords and dream-like synths, punctuated by masterfully crafted vocal shots. The track's groovy and driving bassline keeps the energy at fever pitch. Meanwhile, a spectacularly simple breakdown introduces beautiful melodies, which climax in an enchanting high-energy drop, courtesy of a compelling female vocal. This track was debuted to a full house at the Axis Theatre in Toronto, where it was received with tremendous acclaim.
The second track on the EP, "The Siren's Call," ventures into the realm of melodic techno. Ghazi continues his impressive experimentation with vocal shots, complemented by a more daring synth design. This track takes a turn into deeper waters, featuring a heavier kick-bass combo that offers a more minimalistic soundscape. Yet, Ghazi maintains the melodic core that defines his signature sound.
