Trying to get into the habit of posting things I work on.  Hadn't sat down at home in a while but messed around with a few things tonight and an hour or two later this is what happened. Patterns on top of other patterns on top of other things.   Might try to rework into a proper song.

Jessie bought me a sweet ukelele for Christmas which I've become sort of obsessed with learning how to play and just plinking around on in general. Thought I'd get this idea down on paper so to speak before I forgot it though my computer kept crashing so it's more of a sketch than anything. Also note to self: tune ukelele before recording.

I always try to sit down and record a little something quick every birthday for the hell of it. This year, Jessie bought me a super sweet new ukulele and so I thought it'd be fitting to sit down and bang out something I'd been messing around with.

I was hoping to record it a little more properly but my computer's all screwed up so this was just recorded to my phone.

Bought a tiny piezo pickup for the ukuklele I've been obsessed with and just tried seeing how good the clean recording by writing something quick and repetitive.

An old sketch I found while going through old MP3 bounces and always thought I should upload here. Came out of a day off work playing around with a new drum pad that let me actually record more proper drum parts at home, but the bassline was something that had been rattling around my head forever.

Might even turn into a real song one of these days.

A late-night sketch for what will turn into a fuller song soon. Not ready for primetime but I felt a need to break the FAWM seal. 😀

Inspired by some silly slow beats on a Pocket Operator, and noodling some synth on top of it, this is where things got to before I had to cal lit an evening.
