The background track is "Rainbow Avenue" by the anonymous "Mega Ballz", an extraordinary artist with tons of rainbow-flavoured sherbet tunes that probably take the piss, but in so doing betray an immense sublimity: take "Ambient Broken Chord" for example, I bet for her/him/them it's some synth experiment, some random note carried on in a demonstration for no reason, but for me it is a universe of emotion and colour and feeling.  The words are taken from my review of "The Bostonians" (https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/2871430457?book_show_action=false&from_review_page=1), itself a novel of staggering beauty, of darksided twilights, ice cream at midnight, one that totally clowns on "liberal" society (hated on by libs for having a lesbo protag); written by a James incidentally with Irish ancestry who became a British subject.  Synchronicity and synergies are a dime a dozen with the internet; they alone cannot be the prize.  Substance is everything -- but that will require that you actually -- read -- listen -- think.  If you "think" reading is .......... then, I would ask, how is that working out for you?  

I am the respectful canker.  I will treasure all that you cast aside and ignore.

The Conditioner is most probably Bernhard Zeller, member #87978234 of the United Plumbers & Pipetapers Union (although he would never admit it).  Luminaries such as Lazar Prettymountain and Okrah Wingsneeze have touted Zeller (or whomever it really is) for changing the ambient music game, and credit him (or her or them) as making HVAC units more musically accesible.

Lizard Pants was an independent alternative folk band from Portland, Arizona, deemed widely responsible for the slogan "Keep Portland Hot & Dry".  They are one of those bands you've never heard of; then one day you're watching a documentary on Neckflicks and all of the most famous musicians in the world cite Lizard Pants as their greatest influence.
