This song is absolutely fantastic.  Not many know what game this is, but I do. I played this when I was young, and boy let me tell you it was amazing. Thank you for uploading such a awesome song, this is very nostalgic, and brings back so many happy memories.

"Heart of Fire" from the 1986 NES game "Castlevania", composed by Kinuyo Yamashita and Satoe Terashima.

This is not from emulation. This was recorded from a genuine front-loading NES console. The NES was modded so its audio would bypass the amp/mixdown stage. This dual-channel audio directly from the 2A03 chip was amplified by a FiiO E6 and captured by a Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro at 24-bit/96khz through Audacity, then mixed down to mono and losslessly encoded using FLAC. In other words, it's essentially the authentic NES hardware sound but without the buzzing noise. All credit for this recording goes to "The Iron Goat".
