Tronic is one of the most established & longest-running techno labels in the world. Founded in 1994 by Christian Smith, the label now has over 430 releases.
Christian & his team have paved the way for many artists including ANNA, Dosem, Wehbba, Drunken Kong.
Tronic's main philosophy is simple: nonpurist, honest, house & techno. Supported by the top players in the industry the label has released countless of artist albums. Some outstanding releases have been Christian Smith's remixes of Carl Craig's seminal 'At Les" song, which has become one of the biggest vinyl sales releases of the past decade. Other notable releases & remixes came from Laurent Garnier, & Underworld.
The weekly Tronic Radio show is being syndicated on over 120 stations worldwide & has had over 500 shows. With regards to events, Tronic has had a successful 15-week season in Ibiza at the 3000-capacity Eden super club, while also hosting arenas at established festivals, & doing over 100+ club events worldwide.

Today we premiere a track from promising Irish techno producer, Jack Jennings as he features on newly born Irish techno label Syncopated Records. Jack has contributed a deep and winding club tool, as the youngster leans on rolling low end that’s matched with meandering synth lines and hazy atmospheres.

Syncopated made their mark on Irish techno earlier this year, as they burst out the rafters with a commanding 10 track debut various artist release. The label now stretches its legs for their second release, and yet again another 10 track VA release comprised of rhythmic techno grooves.

The second release entitled Liminality is defined as the quality of ambiguity or disorientation that occurs in the middle stage of a rite of passage, when participants no longer hold their pre-ritual status but have not yet begun the transition to the status they will hold when the rite is complete.

Jack Jennings has been busy in the studio and is proving to be one of the most auspicious young techno producers that Ireland has to offer right now. With releases on Delinquent Delivery, Gobsmacked Records, Modem Records and more, the young producer is building up an impressive back catalogue.

Jack’s contribution to Syncopated Records second release, show’s Jack at his best, as his dabbles in detailed minimal sounds to great effect. Rolling low end and crisp percussion lay the foundation for an ethereal dance floor tool. Meticulous sound design and invigorating atmospheres, give the track a feverish energy. Top tier work from the promising producer.

Four Four Premiere: Jack Jennings - Subconscious Triggers [Syncopated Records]

EPM Music celebrate yet another milestone, as they boast their 100th release. To commemorate a century of releases, the team have invited Shed, CYRK, Inigo Kennedy and Works of Intent to remix some tracks from the ‘EPM20’ compilation. Today we feature a bass heavy remix from UK techno titan Inigo Kennedy, as the techno pioneer gives a menacing touch to Bryan Chapman’s original.

For EPMmusic’s 100th release the label throw it back to another milestone. Last year, EPM celebrated 20 years in the business of Digital Distribution and Rights Management with a series of vinyl EPs and a compilation on their in-house label. Now the crew enlist Shed, CYRK, Inigo Kennedy and Works of Intent – all artists who we’ve had the pleasure to work with in the last 2 decades – to remix some of those ‘EPM20’ tracks.

Today we feature a remix from one of the most influential names in UK techno, Inigo Kennedy. The Asymmetric boss needs little introduction as a key figure in the history of UK techno. Having released under Reducer and Tomito Satori, the UK don has a rich history of classic techno cuts.

Inigo’s discography stretches to well over 100 releases on vinyl, CD and digitally on established, if not seminal, labels such as Missile, Semantica, Stroboscopic Artefacts and Token.

Today we feature Inigo as he returns to EPM with a stellar low-end heavy techno roller. This is classic Inigo Kennedy as he lyes on deep and winding atmospheres and pummelling bass that has made his sound so iconic over the years. This is proper techno from a master.

Ekzon will release a new EP “Infinite Circus”' on Sf Records. It contains 4 tracks that have in common the representative sound of the french artist. 

Analog sound patterns that he elaborates with modular synthesizers and transport you to an experimental and hypnotic atmosphere. Between drums and a rich bass, the EP is made up of very organic and shiny drums. This complete EP is the result of tribal and futuristic influences. “Another place” is the quieter, more uptempo track, with a very punchy, bouncy chord around a heavy low kick. “Mimetic Forms” is more melodic with an arpeggio accompanied by a big white noise playing with it. “Infinite Circus” is purely synthetic and more enveloping. The remixed version of Tensal is as well made for the club and is very effective for a peak moment.
