Sometimes the stars just align. The mystery that is Guydee just happened to us at Lagaffe Tales and we had to react. Guydee, a young ambitious producer delivers a bomb of a debut EP with remixes from one of our favourite producers Thorsteinsson and a raw analog remix from Tsktch. We can’t pick a favourite on this one and if we did, it would change everyday. Tales 017 promises great follow up to our earlier releases and we hope we can continue our journey with each release topping the last one.

Studio Barnhus comrade Axel Boman returns with a fresh remix of Landside's Chains EP, a melting pot of dub vibes, breaking leads, and melancholic vocals.

Yet, premiering on DHA is Axel Boman's remix, known for his fantastically colorful releases on labels such as Permanent Vacation, Moodmusic, Glass Table, Hypercolour, Tartelet and of course Studio Barnhus.  His remix is a fresh breath into Landside's melancholic landscape, a mix which is stripped down and lingering around the tune's idiosyncrasies. It's safe to say that the Stockholm native's fine art degree is paying off.

Chains EP will be available via Milan-based label Just This May 27th on 12" and digital.

Rose Records are celebrating their first lustrum as a record label this summer. What started out as a boutique outlet for the productions of a bunch of close friends morphed into one of the industry's most revered and sought-after imprints and has kickstarted the careers of Martin Hayes, Luvless and M.ono, who manifested themselves as headline attractions at clubs and festivals the world over. A birthday calls for a party. A house party, in a no-frills basement with a fat rig, for which Rose Records provides the soundtrack. Rhode & Brown nabbed Moony Me again and set the mood with their hard-hitting, synthladen chugfest 'Lonnie's Stiff'. Martin Hayes turns down the lights and takes things to the deep with the rolling basement groover that is 'Villa Vanilla', which should please fans of Box Aus Holz' releases. On the flip Jan Ketel & Siggatunez provide the eyes closed/hands in the air moment with the lush 'Grand Central Park Piano' that couldn't be more Rose Records if it tried, and finally M.ono & Luvless give the punters what they came for with a beefy, retrosounding slice of bigroom deephouse with massive stabs and chopped up hiphop vocals.
