Forbidden Planet is a 1956 American science fiction film from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, produced by Nicholas Nayfack, directed by Fred M. Wilcox, that stars Walter Pidgeon, Anne Francis, and Leslie Nielsen. Shot in Eastmancolor and CinemaScope, it is considered one of the great science fiction films of the 1950s, a precursor of contemporary science fiction cinema. The characters and isolated setting have been compared to those in William Shakespeare's The Tempest, and the plot contains certain analogues to the play, leading many to consider it a loose adaptation.

Forbidden Planet's effects team was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects at the 29th Academy Awards. In 2013, the picture was entered into the Library of Congress' National Film Registry, being deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant". Tony Magistrale describes it as one of the best examples of early techno-horror.

La musique est calme et rappelle la musique elfique, notammant avec l'emploi de la harpe et de pizzicatos aux contrebasses.

L'histoire est censé se passer au Moyen Âge. C'est l'histoire toute bête d'un chevalier et de sa princesse. Cette musique puise ses sources dans les jeux vidéos de rôle anciens, tel que la série des "Zelda", "Baldur's gate" ou encore "Warcraft".

Il s'agit d'un genre musical hybride. Il s'agit d'une bande de jazz symphonique, c'est à dire de la fusion du jazz et du classique.

Outre l'effectif instrumental se rapprochant des instruments de fox trot des années 1920, il y a des instruments amplifiés. L'effectif est très restreint mais il comporte des bois, des cuivres, des cordes et des percussions. C'est en quelque sorte un orchestre miniature.

History is supposed to happen in the Middle Ages. This is the story every simple of a knight and his princess. This music draws its sources in video games old role as the series of "Zelda", "Baldur's Gate" or "Warcraft".

This is a hybrid musical genre. This is a symphonic jazz band, ie the fusion of jazz and classical.

Besides the instrumental forces approaching the fox trot instruments 1920s, there amplified instruments. The number is very small but it includes woodwinds, brass, strings and percussion. It's sort of a miniature orchestra.

The Knights of the Round Table were the knightly members of the legendary fellowship of the King Arthur in the literary cycle of the Matter of Britain, in which the first written record of them appears in the Roman de Brut written by the Norman poet Wace in 1155. In the legend, the Knights are an order in the service of Arthur, tasked with ensuring the peace of the kingdom and sometimes also charged with leading the quest for the Holy Grail. The Round Table at which they met was created to have no head or foot, representing the equality of all the members. Different stories had different numbers of Knights, ranging from only 12 to 150 or more.

Ce sont des chansons rituelles qui accompagnent les différentes étapes d'un mariage traditionnel. Elles forment le plus grand sous-groupe de chansons lyriques folkloriques sur la vie de famille. La première référence aux chansons de mariage dans les sources écrites remonte à 1096, et les premiers extraits publiés de chansons de mariage ont paru en 1820. 

Bien que toutes les chansons rituelles aient progressivement perdu leur signification magique, les chansons de mariage ont conservé une telle signification plus longtemps que les autres. Elles peuvent être divisés en quatre groupes en fonction de leur rôle dans le mariage: des chansons qui sont étroitement liées à un seul événement du mariage, par exemple les rituels du pain, des branches ou des guirlandes du mariage; des chansons qui accompagnent plusieurs étapes du mariage; des chansons qui peuvent être chantées pendant diverses parties du mariage; et des chansons dont la relation avec le mariage a été oubliée. Les chansons du premier groupe sont les plus anciennes. 

Les chansons de mariage peuvent également être divisées en fonction des différentes étapes du mariage. En fait, il n'y a pas de rituel de mariage sans chanson d'accompagnement. Ritual songs that accompany the different stages of a traditional wedding. They form the largest subgroup of lyrical folk songs on family life. The earliest reference to wedding songs in the written sources dates back to 1096, and the first published samples of wedding songs appeared in 1820.  

Although all ritual songs have gradually lost their magical meaning, wedding songs retained such a meaning longer than other songs. They can be divided into four groups according to their role in the wedding: songs that are closely tied to only one event in the wedding, for example, the wedding bread, branch, or wreath rituals; songs that accompany several stages of the wedding; songs that may be sung during various parts of the wedding; and songs whose relation to the wedding has been forgotten. Songs of the first group are the oldest. 

Wedding songs can also be divided according to the various stages of the wedding. In fact there is no wedding ritual without an accompanying song. The basic themes are the hardships awaiting the young couple, particularly the bride in her new home with the groom's parents; separation from one's beloved; the forced marriage to a repugnant man; the understanding mother; the cruel mother-in-law; and the tender feelings of the young couple. 

Today wedding songs have disappeared almost completely from the wedding ceremonies. They are performed only on stage in a stylized and dramatized form by folk ensembles.

Lancelot du Lac est un personnage du cycle des romans de la Table Ronde et le héros éponyme du roman de chevalerie Lancelot du Lac, écrit au xiiie siècle. Cependant, il est surtout connu par le roman courtois de Chrétien de Troyes, Lancelot ou le Chevalier de la charrette et La légende du roi Arthur. Il est l'un des chevaliers de la Table Ronde, faisant ainsi partie du cycle du Graal.

English translation :

Sir Lancelot du Lac (meaning Lancelot of the Lake), alternatively also written as Launcelot and other spellings, is one of the Knights of the Round Table in the Arthurian legend. He typically features as King Arthur's greatest companion, the lord of Joyous Gard and the greatest swordsman and jouster of the age – until his adulterous affair with Queen Guinevere is discovered, causing a civil war exploited by Mordred which brings about the end of Arthur's kingdom.
His first appearance as a main character is in Chrétien de Troyes' poem Lancelot, the Knight of the Cart, written in the 12th century. Later, his exploits were expanded upon in the Prose Lancelot, which was further expanded upon for the vast Lancelot-Grail cycle. There, his and Lady Elaine's son, Galahad, becomes an even more perfect knight.
