Ellen Allien returns to her beloved BPitch label with a new dance floor focused EP ‘Rave Luv’ 

‘Rave Luv’ perfectly showcases the sound of Ellen Allien; playful manipulated vocals, powerful drums and out of this world synths. It’s typical of the sound she explores in her sets and her We Are Not Alone events in Berlin. The EP is the result of all the places she played in the last year, as she draws constant inspiration from the global club scene - the dancefloors and dancers her studio muse.

The iconic Ellen Allien’s journey is a blueprint for a healthy underground community and grounded career in music. Her playful mind and openness to sharing knowledge, imbues her art with an energy and inspiration that’s been highly influential to the subculture across music, art, design and fashion in her native Berlin. A constant source of new ideas, energy and inspiration, Ellen’s comprehensive knowledge and intuitive approach to music is part of her genetic makeup, she has cultivated her own identity while also guiding the evolution of electronic music worldwide. Her future-facing sound takes influence from the early pioneers of techno, while painting a vivid, prophetic image of where we’re going next.

Rossie @rossie_music and Plecta @plecta86 join forces for the first time on Univack to deliver a vibrant and sensorial EP, composed of two original tracks and a remix by Argentinian producer Agustin Pietrocola@agus-pietrocola . “Matala / Cariló” moves fluidly between Progressive House and Organic House, filled with rhythmic richness, sonic nuance, and a strong personality that aligns perfectly with the spirit of the label.

“Cariló” opens the journey with tribal energy, precise percussion, immersive ethnic vocals, and acidic textures that build a bold identity and make an immediate impact on the dancefloor. Tamango Records 12th release is undoubtedly its biggest one to date because Yaya's debut album "You Decide" is getting a massive remix treatment by 4 real heavyweights of the house music panorama.
The first remix is entrusted to a long friend of the label and one of the most iconic figures over the last 20 years, Loco Dice. The Desolat boss heads to trippy directions for his version of "Black Mamba", which is dominated by bubbling minimal percussions, swingy dirty hi-hats, and pressing shakers, wrapping an 8+ minutes ride that will keep you hooked on the dancefloor.

Next up, Spanish groover Cuartero turns "One Way" into a heady dancefloor tool that features swinging rhythms and energetic grooves throughout, mainly focusing on the mighty bassline and a compelling bold pace.

On the flip, FUSE head-honcho Enzo Siragusa re-arranges the meandering moves from “Be Yourself” into a tremendous basements destroyer, within which the vocals are combined with hi-pitched synths to increase the drama right before an impressive "hands up, heads down" drop pours on the crowd with a grain of UKG flavor.

Rounding off the package is the formidable S.A.M. who delivers one of his many club anthems: the original bassline bursts back into life again, and so do the juicy vocals that inevitably lead the track into a massive breakdown guided by his trademark catchy lead to form something that’s built solely for the dancefloor.

Bio: Vinnie Mikra, coming from Vlaardingen, started at age 15 with turning vinyl. During a party, he met Zico. They decided to work with each other and produce music together. At that moment everything changed. Looking at what their sound is, they ran into some big clubs in Rotterdam, Vlaardingen and area. But after a while Zico was very busy starting his own business. It costed him so much time and energy, that they decided to choose their own path. Vinnie went solo as Vinnie Mikra.
 
Vinnie produces his own music. 
After he finishes his parttime job, he works most of the time in his studio. To create or perfects (his) new music. 
 
As he likes to say ; 
"I need to get out of that studio sometimes, but i always forget the time. Even the clock in the studio is not working" 
 
His goal is to eventually play his own music.
" what i play, is not only my own music. I buy and listen music from all over the place. Internet is full of good music. And i like to go to music stores"
the combination of found music and own produced music is a good mix and creates a unique sound. 
 
In his own words "I play mostly house and techno. Music thats sounds goods at the time and have that "extra's" 
 
He likes to adjust himself, and is not afraid to try new sounds. As long it's within his genre. 
 
When it is good, its good!
