From the vaults of the Beyond Within. Living by the Norwegian west coast, pushing through neverending North Atlantic winter storms, combined with deep personal struggles, I found, like always, solace in music. 

This mix was uploaded on a separate Soundcloud-account where I put up experiments apart from my "Psy"-persona. It was quite an inactive account, so when I one day noticed that the mix had been listened to 10.000+ times my jaw dropped. Lots of comments in Spanish, so I suspect that the tag "Cumbia" had gotten some random Latinos interested, and once the snowball started rolling........

So yes, there are some Peruvian "Chicha"-classics there, along with other psychedelic variations of Jazz, Blues and Rock. And yes, the silver flute in the end is a young Raja Ram.

Dear Mikael.
14 years ago, at Antaris festival, I became aware of your trance project Procs, by experiencing your live gig at the alternative stage.
What happended, what you did to us in the crowd that night, cannot be described with words. Still, all these years after, it stands clear as the best experience I have ever had on a trancefloor.
I was rather new to the scene back then, and had just learned about the sub-genre Suomi/Freeform, and I thought to myself that it would be interesting to take that drive, crazyness, the circus and not least; the fun from your set, into a Soumi/freeform set, hence, I started sorting out tracks  that I thought might fit for a set like that.
App. a year after that, I lost my whole library due to a harddrive failure. 8000+ tracks....gone!
It broke me. 
Last year, I finally started to build a new library, still having that night at Antaris in mind, I quickly gathered the tracks I had already sorted out back then, and as my collection grew, I finally ended up with a layout, and started to compile.
I was well-determined that I would use it for a certain party in Copenhagen; Prygl. Amazing organizers and an amazing crowd, and as winter turned to spring, the setlist was done. 
I was well-determined that I would not use any of your own tracks, but during the spring, you released a birthday present that, in my world, could not have been more meant to be!!!!! So it happended that you got the last tune of the set 
Last weekend, I finally got to perform. 
A packed dancefloor went absolutely nuts, and quite frequently during the set, I saw people with the exact same expression of surprise and joy that filled every single one of us on the dancefloor that night 14 years ago, and If just one person in the crowd last weekend felt just a little bit of what you gave of yourself back then, then my mission has been accomplished.
"Thankfull" is a very small word right now!
14 years......14 F*****G years.
The tears of relief running down my cheeks as I write this, cannot express, how much this achievement means to me, simple as it is.
That inspiration, that stone you put in my hand so long ago, I am now, FINALLY, able to toss into the pond, and let the waves spread omnidirect out to every corner of the world, to the people dancing for peace, to the people dancing for love.
Dear Mikael , this set, I dedicate to you.
