At the age of 18, André took the plunge into music production, embarking on a path that saw him delve deep into the realms of audio engineering and artistic expression. André's DJ sets and productions are an exquisite fusion of Progressive and Organic House, layered with intricate melodies and emotive depth. His performances at esteemed venues like Gate22 in Campinas and memorable gigs across Argentina have garnered widespread acclaim, showcasing his prowess as a provider of euphoric sonic experiences.

André's musical journey is woven with influences from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Frankey Beckers, Kamilo Sanclemente, Khen, and Stimming, each thread contributing to the unique fabric of his sound. He has released on prominent labels like Soundteller Records, Balkan Connection, Plattenbank, Onedotsixtow, Clubsonica Records, The Soundgarden, Deepwibe Underground to name a few. His releases have garnered worldwide recognition from artists like Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy Mantzur, Khen and Graziano Raffa. ARTIST BIO

Casnik (Nicolás Castillo) is an Argentine DJ/ Producer, originally from City Bell, La Plata. Since he was a child he felt music in a special way. He began to experience everything he felt inside through movement, like Michael Jackson, taking dance classes and going through various musical genres to learn the essence of each one and understand the different states of mind.

At the beginning of 2018 he began his career in the dj world, setting himself the premise of transmitting what music provokes in his senses and generating in the public that magical connection with the melodies he selects.

During 2019, he has shared the booth at events with top-level national artists such as Elio Riso, Jay de Lys, Bodeler, Matias Sundblad, LeFrak, Cordoba, Super, among others. He has also had a leading role in booths in other cities such as San Pedro, Mercedes, Azul, Tandil, Olavarria, La Plata, Mar del Plata, Pinamar and Monte Hermoso, in outstanding nightclubs such as Esvedra, Vita, Input, Brandy, Club Quba (MDQ ), Mute (MDQ), Mr. Jones (MDQ), Opium (Tandil).

In 2020 is where he began to connect with new genres such as Progressive House and Melodic House.

In 2021, he moved to Tulum, where he began to open new horizons and continue to fulfill his goals, playing in clubs in Playa del Carmen, Holbox and Tulum; where he had the pleasure of being part of the line up with international DJs such as the Pan Pot duo, Roy Rosenfeld, Marcel Dettman, Armen Miran, Sam Sure, Bora Uzer, Dj Vibe, Gux Gimenez, Adi Dassler, Em Boss among others.

About Casnik:

Hailing from City Bell, La Plata, Nicolás Castillo, known by his stage name Casnik, has always had a profound connection with music. His journey began in childhood, drawing inspiration from iconic figures like Michael Jackson and exploring various musical genres through dance. This early exposure laid the foundation for his unique approach to music, which focuses on understanding and expressing different emotional states.

Casnik officially embarked on his DJ career in early 2018, driven by the desire to convey the powerful sensations music evokes within him and to create a magical connection with his audience through carefully selected melodies. His talent quickly garnered attention, and by 2019, he was sharing the stage with renowned national artists such as Elio Riso, Jay de Lys, Bodeler, Matias Sundblad, LeFrak, Cordoba, Super and many more. He performed in notable nightclubs across various cities, including San Pedro, Mercedes, Azul, Tandil, Olavarría, La Plata, Mar del Plata, Pinamar, and Monte Hermoso.

In 2020, Casnik's musical journey took a new turn as he delved into the realms of Progressive House and Melodic House. The following year, he expanded his horizons by moving to Tulum, where he performed in clubs across Playa del Carmen, Holbox, and Tulum. Here, he had the opportunity to share the lineup with international DJs like Pan-Pot, Roy Rosenfeld, Marcel Dettmann, Armen Miran, Sam Sure, Bora Uzer, DJ Vibe, Gux Gimenez, Adi Dassler, and Em Boss.

By the end of 2022, Casnik decided to focus on music production to deepen his musical knowledge. He took production classes with Andres Moris in 2023 and released his first tracks in 2024. His work has been signed by esteemed labels such as Future Avenue, AH Digital, Balkan Connection South America, Droid9, BC2, Anoka, The Purr, Dreamers, Cafe De Anatolia LAB, Symmetric Records, SLC-6 Music, and Noise In Harmony.

Casnik's dedication to his craft and his ability to create immersive musical experiences continue to make him a rising star in the progressive house scene. Definitely one to watch!
